Hail Maggie! No question, she didn't take prisoners (of course, neither do the namby-pamby girlie-men - they excuse them).
Man I miss those days.....

History Quiz!!!
In 1898, who led the charge up Cuba's heavily fortified San Juan Hill in a key Spanish-American War battle?
Tanks for Da Blues, acad.

I like to take the current leftist mantra and change the words to read: "The media lied and South Vietnam died!"
The shamelss duplicity of our media is repulsive. When General Vo Nguyen Giap, head of the Communist forces, lists the American media as an ally in his memoir, that should tell folks something.
Thank G-d for places like FR and the fine, witty, intelligent, and dedicated folks who post here.
G-d bless our troops and those of our allies. G-d bless our president and the leaders of our allied nations. Push on to victory!

That came from the Microsoft website. I suspect it was for Win 3.1 But they didn't say what version! Remember this was their FIRST release of Windows to the public.

No, it wasn't Win 3.1. The very first version which became Windows was actually called, "Executive Manager," or some such. It was a Windows-type interface but had the different name. My memory is fading now but the word "manager" was in the title. They continued with the technology but thought the name to be too complex so they came up with the name "Windows." They just changed the name, nothing more.

Thank you very much. His FReeper Screen name is "Jade Falcon". Now that boot camp is over, I hope we get to have him visit more often.
