No. Hubby had a better rest last night than he probably would have had here. He deserved it. He had a rough trip.

We have neighborhood fireworks right by my parents home. We can just sit on their deck and watch. It's great. I'm glad you will get to see them!

I am glad your hubby had a restful night and might be able to do something with the kids,so you can tidy up.:)

We used to go see the big fireworks at the fairground here, but now that the kids are older they much rather set of their own fireworks and I would have to hustle getting home from work in order to get a nice viewing spot,so it is much more relaxing to just stay home.

It's too hectic to see fireworks at locations. My parents moved her about 7 years ago. The past few years, a nearby beach club sets them off and then another place, nearby sets them off. 2 shows at once. I agree, it is such a pleasure to be home watch what we can see and just relax.

I come to the Canteen with some happy news. Dad's back home.

The pacemaker replacement went off without any trouble.

It was striaghtforward and went with no problems whatsoever.

He nevere even felt any pain.

Thanks canteeners for prayers answered.

I am sure that they and the Aussies, Poles, Czechs, etc. appreciate your support in this war where some idiots claim we are "going alone." Politicians and media types who claim we are fighting alone are denigrating the service and sacrifice of many servicemen and women from a great many countries. It is the same gameplan from Vietnam. They ignored the Aussies, Kiwis, South Koreans, South Vietnamese (they mercilessly mocked the ARVN), etc. Lucky for us, the Left does not change its gameplan and we have the internet to help spread the truth.
