It could be any number of birds. The wren love the cactus. they tunnel in them for the moisture & the coolness. They can destroy a saghuaro. Grackles are very noisy fairly large black birds. I think they're kinda like clowns...funny birds.

Hmmm--sounds like they might be sorta like hubby's brother. I would have to Freepmail about him, too! LOL! But I just love my hubby's Mom, as you already know!

Oh, we are going up there to see her in OK on the 18th. I am actually getting hubby to go somewhere. Woo-hoo! Course, I had to threaten his life!

and I even tried to start a blog specifically aimed at remembering the 80s, but I kinda gave up hope on it...could never get a grip on how to organize all the stuff to talk about
