There are computer programs that do the "spacing of the eyes" and "distance of eyes from mouth" that are extremely accurrate (NOT the fully automated system used at the Superbowl).

Nose is wrong, slope of forehead is wrong. He also must have Dick Clark disease as he hasn't aged much at all.
CIA (and others) have facial software that will confirm or deny. I hope they come out and say something like they do with the voice prints of Osama, etc.

Curves of the nose, lower ear, outer eyebrow different. Cheekbone, rough facial size similar. I'd say no.
That is SO cool. I had no idea you could hook up a Lite Brite to the computer!! What technology can do.

More pronounced? The noses are completely different.
That's an urban legend. You don't grow cartilage. The cartilage you have is the cartilage you have - it does not grow with age. Only the supportive elastic and fibrous tissues in the nose lose support and the cartilage pieces become more spaced. So the nose will look longer and start to droop a little.
Also as far as the ear lobule, there is no cartilage in the lobule, it is just fat and soft tissue. This too does not grow and somehow grow an earlobe in 25 years time. That does not happen. With the images flipped, there can be some slight discrepancy from ear to ear so it's a little like comparing apples and oranges. That said, both ears should be fairly symmetrical so the difference in photos is real imo.

OK, I took the orignal picture, destroyed it, then painted a new picture just like the original. Then, I used a 1979 IBM typewriter with Courier Elite ball....ooops wrong story.

I head much the same thing; this guy admitted being involved in some way. That leads credence to what the hostages are saying, whether we have a photo of him or not.
The "nose" have it.
It's not him IMO.
I hear ya, but those noses are about as different as two noses can get (other than before and after shots of Michael Jackson).
