"I didn't feel this way at the beginning, but now I just don't see an end to it." "
Is this too hard to understand. I'm 74 and a veteran, but I understand that this conflict is not only war, but now is dealing with the worst criminals in history because of the mass killing it can cause. Why is it too hard to understand that civilization is threatened like never before. If it takes hundreds of years, then so be it. This whole thing is trying to protect your a@@ from what could become is the worst mass destruction the world has ever seen. Suppose all the water supply in America was poisoned! Think.

Almost every day our local liberal rag has letters to the editor from Vietnam era veterans saying we are loosing Iraq and need to get out.
I know that not all Vietnam Vets feel like that but those antiwar vets is doing more harm to their own generation than to the current crop of solders in my view.

Mayo has some of the most blatant gay references I have seen while doing these searches.
He appears to be a prime candidate for Meekonegop's Fudge Packer for Kerry.

Thanks, Grampa Dave - basically, we can just assume that leftist/homosexual/Democrat reporters (but I repeat myself) write shallow, transparent propaganda handouts mislabeled "news".
And still people believe them.
Heads up for the Homosexual Agenda Ping list folks - note the "reporter" outage performed by the noted freeper sleuth.
Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

I am sure that the president shares your concern on his poll numbers, may hinder his re-election chances in 08.

As I have posted before, it is really very simple to see if the poseur reporter has a history of pushing the Gay Agenda.
Just do a yahoo search with the name of the poseur and the word gay.
This poseur's electronic gay trail lit up the electronic sky.

The wise comment made by orangeaid is his/her sole contribution to FR.
Looks as though this individual has drunk deep of the koolaid, but purple kind.
Note to orangeaid - just change your screen name to purpleaid, it'll suit you better.

This is a major barf alert. I think those "veterans" are the old time democrats who just are attacking Bush to attack Bush.
They are just late to the DNC party.
It is a wonder they are called "greatest generation" because their comments are very mediocer.
To: lowbridge
"but the support is gone. It's gone. I don't think there's anybody in here who's behind him."
This article is framed such that these ole coots lost support for the President. I'd say it's safe to say that these vets were always liberal and have never been behind the President or anything else that he does.

Weak minds? You mean like those that back Jorge no matter what? I have to laugh at the blind allegiance to someone who doe's not deserve it. History will judge Bush as one of our worst presidents. The acceleration of the nation toward third world status should cause more concern than someone not agreeing with Jorge.
