Maximize the Economy, Minimize the Government
It's no secret why California is in trouble — big government is destroying the economy with high taxes, abusive regulations, outrageous workmen's compensation premiums and interference in the power industry. The marketplace is like a garden. When free it produces a bountiful harvest for all, but when the weed of government enters it steals resources, strangles production and ruins the harvest. I'm the only candidate who wants to pull out the weed by the root, not just trim its leaves.

I will help California roar to life by cutting government spending 50% and lowering taxes and regulations across the board. I will make government as small as possible so that our economy can be as large as possible. Failing, tax-supported government programs will be replaced by more effective, lower-cost, voluntary solutions provided by resourceful business people competing to win your business. See the work of freedom in grocery stores filled with food, hospitals filled with lifesaving technology, and a computer industry filled with innovation. See the work of big government in power blackouts, failing schools and traffic jams. The more important the task, the more reason it should be handled by resourceful companies motivated by profit, not bumbling politicians motivated by power.

Education spending accounts for around half of government spending. Therefore, to cut government spending by at least 50% I will replace high cost/low quality public schools with low cost/high quality private schools. More spending will not yield better schools. California teachers are among the highest paid in the nation, yet a 2002 study by the U.S. Department of Education showed that California's students ranked at the bottom of a reading test among 43 states that participated in the study. Public schools have been a failure for decades while private schools and universities have consistently performed better. I want to give all parents the opportunity to send their child to private school of their choice. The will end up with a better education for less than they currently pay in school taxes.

Would you rather have private schools run by smart and resourceful businesspeople competing for your business or public schools that take your tax money and offer crime-ridden, drug filled, failing schools. You don't have to dream about sending your child to a private school anymore. If elected I will make it possible by undertaking the largest transformation of government since Poland switched from socialism to freedom. I will upgrade all schools and colleges from public to private by transitioning them from government management to private management.

This is no time for small fixes. We need major change. You can vote for a 'big' candidate and get small change or for a 'small' candidate and get big change. Vote for big change, vote Clements for Governor.

Read America's second most influential book, Atlas Shrugged. Written almost 50 years ago by Ayn Rand, a Russian immigrant to California, this book predicts our current crisis and offers a powerful solution. It fits California's situation so well that the statements of current politicians could easily be interchanged with the statements of politicians in the book. Soon you will know the answer to Atlas Shrugged's mysterious question "Who is John Galt?"

Souter enjoys very low property value assessment of about $100,000 and pays property taxes around 2600/year,

Ain't this great? Surely we can build a hotel that will make 3k/yr!

Bumped for future reference!

Only problem I can see is with Ginsburg. Something spooky about that old bat. Bet she lives in a cave or someplace dark. Hey, anybody ever see her out in the daylight?

I think she's the original Goth.

I have to agree with this man. (Logan Darrow Clements)

I have a message for Washington...

I am worth FAR more to this nation as a freeman than as a slave.

"I am worth FAR more to this nation as a freeman than as a slave."

Perhaps you don't grasp the problem? These people don't care what you or anybody is worth. They are the ultimate Druids. They wish to turn the entire world into a pagan shrine. To do that, the first thing that they have to do is remove people from their property. This ruling is step one.

Above is the first "Pagan shrine".

There is more to what you said than most people will ever
understand.

Much more.

Really screw him over by only offering 1/2 what it is worth, just like the government does to everyone else.

"This is one of the best examples of someone who will either back down and change his ruling or fight against his own decision. It's beautiful!!"

You have to expect these judges to twist and turn anything to suit them. I remember when a Republican candidate in Illinois (Ryan) was slapped with a court order from a lib judge to open his divorce court papers following a successful Dem/lib lawsuit which cited the publics right to know. He was forced to abandon his candidacy because of its contents. Shortly thereafter, a similar suit was filed against Kerry to open his divorce court file, citing the Ryan precedent. The liberal judge who heard Kerry's case denied any similarity and ruled against the suit to open Kerry's files. Hypocrisy? Tyranny? Yes it is.

Souter doesn't have to worry if he's evicted. He can move to New London, CT.

Monday, Clements faxed a request to Chip Meany, the code enforcement officer of Weare, seeking to start the application process to build a hotel on 34 Cilley Hill Road, the present location of Souter's home.

"Am I taking this seriously? But of course," Meany told the Associated Press. "In lieu of the recent Supreme Court decision, I would imagine that some people are pretty much upset. If it is their right to pursue this type of end, then by all means let the process begin."

Clements' idea to seize Justice Souter's property and build "The Lost Liberty Hotel" came after the 5-4 ruling last Thursday.

"Now, in what can only be viewed as an attempt at pure poetic justice, a budding developer, businessman Logan Darrow Clements, has begun the process of seizing Supreme Court Justice David Souter's homestead in Weare, New Hampshire and replacing it with a hotel."

Bulldoze the Weasels den and justify doing it with his own rulings. I pray this happens and let these black robed tyrants live by their own rulings.

It seems like a lot of public pics show the Bat(ginsburg) and the Weasel (souter) often together. They always seem to vote on rulings the same way.
