"I am worth FAR more to this nation as a freeman than as a slave." Perhaps you don't grasp the problem? These people don't care what you or anybody is worth. They are the ultimate Druids. They wish to turn the entire world into a pagan shrine. To do that, the first thing that they have to do is remove people from their property. This ruling is step one.
