Hardball: Howard Dean - Insurgents "Fighting for their Country;" Chris - Dean 'Voice of Reason'
Hardball - MSNBC

In a wide-ranging interview now wrapping up on Chris Matthews' Hardball show on MSNBC, Howard Dean described the murderous insurgents in Iraq as "fighting for their country." So outlandish was his statement that, probably realizing his folly, he quickly added, "don't get me wrong, I favor fighting against terrorists."
Matthews gave Dean incredibly respectful treatment. If Matthews had any criticism of Dean, it came from the left. He called Dean "a voice of reason" and demanded to know why Dean wasn't as critical of the war in Iraq as he was when he was a candidate for the Dem nomination.
Matthews was highly critical of other leading Dems - Kerry, Hillary, et al., who are not as willing as Dean to call the war a mistake or blunder.
Matthews has clearly gone over to the hard left. Niche marketing, or incipient dementia?

If people have a chance to catch a replay [which airs at 11 PM EDT] I'd encourage them to do so. It is shocking to see what a cheerleader for Dean Matthews has become, and how vitriolic Matthews is in condemnation of W.

"...don't get me wrong, I favor fighting against terrorists." The POS is referring to American troops, of course.

Dean is not fighting for his country.
Filthy scumbag, why should he notice Zarqawi is a Jordanian terrorist, and many others are Saudis, etc. These liberals love to see our allies butchered, usually by communists, but these days they settle for a Jihadist.

For some odd reason, Matthews specifically asked Dean whether the Dems could defeat Cheney if he ran for President in 2008.

Is Chris Matthews still on TV?

"fighting for their country."
Blowing up Shiites and their mosques and shrines is "fighting for their country?"
The insurgents are Baathist hold out and foreign bigots of the most extreme kind.
