There's been interest in the previous MSM reports while Clinton was in office of info put forth by the Clinton administration of al Qaeda and Saddam's Iraq and their cooperation.

This one from Newsweek, a prime example of the amnesiac liberal MSM, tells it all.

They forget what they themselves published well before 911.

Right...anything that might make Bush appear favorable...just seems to get swept under the rug with most media clowns.

Newsweek can FOAD!

More info on the AQ/Iraq connection:

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper “Al-Nasiriya” carried a column headlined, “American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin.” (July 21, 2001)

In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US “with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.”

The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden “will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,” and that the US “will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs” – an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, “New York, New York”. (Link below)

More evidence that the MSM is on a defamation campaign against a US President, US troops, and the WOT.

This is not just politics anymore, the election for Pres is over.

These NY political orgs work for Saddam and Sons, and their goons world-wide.

The real question, one that is very disturbing, is:

How did it become the conventional wisdom that Saddam wasn't in league with Bin Laden?

The number of connections between them, known and documented before 9/11, was already substantial. Who decided that there was no connection, and how did this come to be commonly accepted?

Despite what Wesley Clark said last night on FNC, he was pushing an Iraq/AQ connection.

Now bin Laden is engaged in something of a public-relations offensive, having granted recent interviews, one for NEWSWEEK (following story). He says "any American who pays taxes to his government" is a legitimate target.

I guess David Dinkins is safe at least...

Saddam and bin Laden have interests -- and enemies -- in common. Both men want U.S. military forces out of Saudi Arabia.

Well, looks like Saddam go what he wanted!
