Among the several mistakes that Bush made after 911, one of them was to not ask Congress for a former declaration of War. He would have gotten it and many Dems would have opposed this.
Just so no one thinks I am anti-Bush, the other mistakes I refer to are not firing George Tenent for the intelligence failures, not firing Norman Minetta for failing to secure the airports under his watch and not immediately securing the borders.
And yes, I know Tenent was not to blame for the intelligence failures. But when bad things happen, someone has to be the fall guy, Tenent was the most logical choice.
Didn't we have something better than a declaration of war from Congress with Resolution 1441 from the United Nations.
That is a body of government that the Liberals love more than their own country in hopes of implementing their socialist Utopian society?
