Maybe they mean SPACE ships, they can't be tortured but what about rectal probing?

"They are only rumours, but they appear sufficiently well-based to merit an official inquiry," he added. What a crock. If they are "well based" they are not rumors. If they are rumors, then by default they are not well based. More leftist swill and gobboldigook from the leftists/socialists/marxists at the UN.

When I read the story I said...GOOD!
They shouldn't give these POS' a room on the ship, just attach a rope to their ankle, tie the end to the back of the ship and see how long they can be dragged along ;)

While the accusations were rumours, rapporteur Manfred Nowak said the situation was sufficiently serious to merit an official inquiry. I've heard rumors that somewhere in the rest of Cuba, there are prisons where Castro is holding and torturing political prisoners, homosexuals, librarians, and other innocent people. I guess that's not sufficiently serious to merit an official inquiry by the UN, though.

Is this the same UN whose complicity in the Oil-for-Food scandal may have led directly to 9/11?
Who's got that "screw the UN" pic?

That isjust damned funny. What position do the mullahs have on anal probing? Would they issue a fatwah against the aliens?

Even if it is true, I don't care...and the public won't either.
The Enemy Within will pay for this continual undermining of our WOT.

The UN has learned of "very, very serious" allegations that the United States is secretly detaining terrorism suspects in various locations around the world, notably aboard prison ships, Where we are secretly assimilating them into the borg collective to be used as semi-robotic terrorist and UN official hunters.
We are also planning to spread contraceptives into the food supply of all islamic nations. And we use korans to wipe our butts.
(OK so maybe the last one is true)

"The United States has said that prisoners considered foreign combattants in its "war on terrorism" are not covered by the Geneva Conventions"
I am growing weary of this stupid argument.
The US is correct in it's interpretation of the Geneva Conventions. As a matter of fact theses folks could have been executed base on the conventions.
I really don't care where we are "hiding" these terrorists At least are not out there trying to kill us, which they will first chance they get.
