"I as a Republican want my president to be likable, reelection time or not."
The only people I know who give a crap about something like that are liberal democrats. (AKA ignorant wastes of space)

And I, as a conservative, don't give a hoot as to whether the media and the populace at large (2/3 who likely can't name the VP or SecDef) likes our president. I expect leadership and tough decisions during difficult times. We've got 'em here. WELL SAID!

Smells funny, posts like a slimey, stinky and smelly troll.
Notice how the GW haters back it up immediately.

"You did?? You voted 'Kerry' on polls??? hahahaha. Good for you."
Quite a few of us did. We discussed is on a lot of threads back then. I planned to lie to an exit pollster if asked as well.

These polls, the people that take them and the media that reports them are so fricking shallow, it's ridiculous. I bet you 70% of these people that take these polls could even begin to describe what Bush has purposed for Energy and Social Security, but yet they disapprove of it.

If I was called by a leftist polling firm, I would likely answer that I approve of the job Bush is doing. In reality, he's creeped into the slightly disapprove column, in my opinion, and he's dropping. That's pretty bad since I voted for him the last two election, I even stood in front of a polling place on election day last year holding a Bush sign. I've scraped his stickers off my vehicles and I'm one disappointed Republican.

Look at Papa Bush, or even Mayor Mike Bloomberg who followed Rudy Guiliani into the job. Or Bill Clinton! Or Dwight Eisenhower!

You're confusing 'wanting to be liked' with 'preventing the media from destroying Americans courage to do what is right'. Don't worry, it's an easy mistake for an idiot to make.

Had CNNMSNBCNYT been around running their 'scientific' polls in 1864, Lincoln might well have lost to the 'peace Democrats'. God willing, Bush will be shown to be right as was Lincoln in preserving the Union.

I am just posting a poll. Of course you are, dear.

It is easy to tell when all of the whacked out liberals in college are home on a break. The internet slows down, and Free Republic gets bs like this from these room temp IQs. Below is a great photo of this typical Summer Break Troll playing with its parents's computer.

You need to evaluate just what you believe and do not believe from the media. He's not perfect and could do a lot more about the border, but Bush is one of the greatest presidents we have ever had.
