Apple/ipod ping
I wonder if my if the new version will keep my ipod mini battery from needing a $100 replacement after 18 months.
Of course I wonder that whenever I see a PR release from crApple.
I'm well over the three year mark on my 1st Gen 5gb iPod. Still don't need a new battery.
How does the new iTunes compare with Netster to go or Rhapsody to go?
Is it still purchase only, or can you "rent" like either of the other two?
I'm considering jumping into the online music world, but not sure which way to go.

iPod ping...
Thanks for the note, ill have to update when I get home..
Hmm my wife has had her iPod damn near four years and no batter problems..
I'm liking the ipod set up--we just got one last week. It transferred all of the music already on my computer and the itunes is by far the easiest piece of software to use I've found yet. You own the music you download, not a rental. So far, I'm happy, course it's only been a week
No, iTunes still does not rent music. I like to "rent" my music from P2P's like Gnutella.
Try BearShare.
It's a great way to "rent" music.
BTW, I love my iPod.
by rent of course yuo mean take without the permission of or compensation to the copyright holders correct?
