INTERNET ACCESS: A test of the tight control cable companies hold over high-speed Internet service in a case that will determine whether the industry must open up its lines to competitors.

Now there is even money on O'Connor instead of Rehnquist...
All the media has been waxing hopeful about Rhenquist's 'emminent' departure, whith his cancer problem & all, but so far I've heard no one mention that old liberal turd Stephens who's 85 years old. Rhenquist is a spring chicken by comparison.
not an issue I have studied much, but not a bad ruling at least I think.
how did you get that news so fast...i read it here then MSNBC just reported it(nothing was CNN or Fox)
.
People have been sicker than Rehnquist....AND THEY HAVE NOT RETIRED. And they have gotten over their sickness.
I see no reason why Rehnquist would not tough it out and stay on the court with an awful bout of cancer if others haven't retired.
Justice Thomas issued the BrandX cable internet access ruling.
The sad thing is with Anothy Kennedy now fully over on the dark side, we now need a solid replacement for O'Connor just to maintain our 5-4 status; with us as the 4.
"Eventually somebody is going to die on the court as well, most likely one of the liberals.
When that happens, it will make a Rehnquist retirement look easy."
Not wishing it on any Liberal personally, but Please, Lord, BRING IT ON!
PING........
SCOTUS watch....
I think I should just start drinking now...............Where's my shot glass?
"TEN COMMANDMENTS: The constitutionality of Ten Commandments in public buildings and on government property, under the First Amendment's ban on an ''establishment'' of religion. "
Question, if this is constitutional, what happens to Judge Roy Moore?
I read somewhere that Renquist is about a year away from being the longest serving ever. He may hang on for the record.
* Saving my seat bump*
HEAVY stuff here ping!
TENTATIVE RULINGS ON MONDAY: (Could be Reinquist's finale!)

One Ten Commandments display vetoed
Well it looks like they are going to have to redecorate the SC of the United States.
Better question: if this is constitutional, what will the ACLU be left with?
BTW..Is Congress in recess?
