Later, in a question-and-answer period, Churchill was asked whether the trauma "fragging" inflicts on that officer's family back home should be considered, he responded: "How do you feel about Adolf Eichmann's family?"

No surprise that this guy can't stop shooting himself.

Wouldn't surprise me too much if someone ultimately rolls a grenade in his direction.

Does the USA no longer have any criteria for prosecuting sedition?

If a "college professor" (c'mon UC- is this idiot still on the PAYROLL????) stands up and advocates killing police or opposition party politicians ...or abortionists....is that free speech?

What do the families of Colorado's uniformed miliary officers have to say about this man being paid by their tax dollars?

He did not intend to suggest the 9-11 victims were "little Eichmanns" he claims now. Instead, he blamed the grammar checker for changing what he says he actually wrote: "little Entenmanns" -- referring to the brand of pastries.

Is this scrappleface or the Onion?

My metaphorical use of food in the essay is, of course, complex to the layman, but surely you've all heard the expression 'as American as apple pie,'" he said. "Well, I'd meant to relate the 'Americanness' and 'lovability' of those poor people who died on 9-11 to the well-known popularity of Entenmann's glazed donuts."

Notice the extra slap in the face with the Entermann comment.

The Entenmann's reference qualifies this piece as parody, correct? This cannot be an actual article.

"University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill suggested to a forum on conscientious objection they might be more effective in opposing war if they supported the "fragging" or killing of line officers."

I support fragging Ward Churchill.

Does anyone have a grammar checker that would convert "Eichmanns" to "Entenmanns"?

I bet someone could have fun checking the dates on his personal dictionary.

Even a layman recognizes the hypocrisy in claiming to oppose all forms war in one hand while advocating the use of guerilla warfare tactics in another.

"My metaphorical use of food in the essay is, of course, complex to the layman, but surely you've all heard the expression 'as American as apple pie,'"

Well, try this metaphor, Pysco Ward: "You are as complex as abcess on Ted Kennedy's butt"...

I would also like to point out the lameness of the event.

Since there is no draft - there really cannot be any conscientious objectors - except for some who volunteered for military service. and those are the really puzzling ones - why would they volunteer for service which they object to?

Meanwhile the current C.O. mentality is to advise ppl how to officially file your C.O. status IN THE EVENT there is a draft and IF you are drafted. In other words - it's a big steaming pile of liberal nonsense.

How much unmitigated gall does it take to change your story after having publically defended it for so long? No one is supposed to remember how ardently he defended the calling the victims little eichman's I suppose.
