No, I'm not 2nd Amendment Mama--I am basil!
2nd Amendment Mama does not live in TX. She is in SC.
I thought she had said differently, oh well.
Nice to see a good Texas one out there anyways. Keep it up.

You are dead right. I carry concealed in Texas and I have more right to defend myself on the street than my sister in New York has in her own home. By the way, my sister is a law officer.
And I never told my mother I worked in the offshore oilfield. She thought I was just a piano player in a whorehouse.

And it doesn't matter what we use to shoot the felons or assailants. We can use anything from a crossbow to a field cannon, including Class III weapons - whatever one has to hand, so long as it is legally owned, is a valid defense weapon.

In a Blue state like Massachusetts or Illinois that guy would be so far back in the dungeons that lawyers would have to send him business cards by slingshot.*snort*

Glad to see some good heat-packing Moms out south too. For a while, I was afraid they were all in Texas.:)

"I feel sure that they stole the wrecker for a reason and, so, it's entirely possible that other vehicles have been stolen in this manner and fashion," said Sgt. Jim Binford, with HPD Homicide. I think we have a criminolgist genius here.

Texas law allows people to use deadly force to protect their property or, under certain circumstances, to stop someone they believe is committing a crime. Can this law apply to the new Supreme Court Ruling?
