The kid had no idea what the parade was.
It was just a parade as far as a kid is concerned.
This is reaching.
However, I'm alarmed that she's raising such a dependent socialist who is so willing to hand over his mind to "authority".

This man is probably one of the stupidist people I've read in the paper.

"My young son's eyes goggled in alarm. "Daddy," he said, pointing, "those men ... they're not wearing seat belts. It isn't safe." He was so upset that the only way to settle him down was to go to a cop, grimly holding back the crowd, and inform him of the infraction. He looked at me as if I was insane."

If I was a cop, I would look at him as if he was insane also. But if I told him I thought it was child abuse to bring a young boy to a parade where there were "muscle boys in tiny swimsuits" I would probably be fired.

Those homosexuals marching in the streets also don't use other "safeties".

AIDS is no surprise.

The writer missed out on that analogy.

It boggles my mind that anyone would want to go back to those days...

Heaven forbid we should go back to the days when the Drag Queens only came out at night and my wife and son didn't have to witness indiscriminate public blowjobs being performed by fags at the rail of a balcony overlooking Bourbon Street while we trying to get back to our hotel through the "french" Quarter. Guess that makes me a bigot.

The glitter boys and prancing fairies meant nothing to him. But sitting on the edge of a car without a seat belt was an emergency

I agree that seatbelts are important, but I see the decline of our moral culture in a state of "emergency".

Typical that a liberal would over look that.

If Dad hadn't been around about `10% of the parade would have lined up to bugger junior.

What kind of father would take their child to something like that parade? As for those of us who are Christian wanting to physically abuse homosexuals. I think he mentions kicking. Why I have just not had time to put that on my agenda. I wonder why people can make the most baseless accusations against Christians and no one ever calls them on it. Is Christian bashing the only hate crime permitted in this Country?

LOL I must have missed it too. The worse thing I ever participated in those days was to go over to the Haight-Asbury in SF with a bunch of friends, drive around and mock the hippies. I rarely saw or would even have recognized homosexuals.

You mean they aren't anymore fags?
I don't care what they say I won't stay in a world without fags!

The author is trying to do the same with propaganda with this.

A homosexual with a child being indoctrinated that a homosexual freakshow is normal. This is truly disgusting and one has to worry what kind of sexual illness the child will suffer as he gets older.

The fact this many had a child at a sex based event IS abuse.

It is no different than if he took a minor child into a strip joint. If anything the fact he admits he takes his child to sexually explicit events should immediatly invite a social services investigation.

Nope. Although I will readily ridicule those who revel in their perversions, I don't kick people who publicly admit their human failures and seek help. That would be petty and cruel.

Yes, who would want to go back to the
Old Days... public restrooms available
in the subways, etc. (I don't remember
those; that's a Barry Farber quote)
