The ACLU has already filed suit demanding their immediate release so they won't be "tortured".

There seems to be no end to them. We kill 100 and 100 more step up to replace them. We arrest and imprison 1400 and 1400 more sneak across the border. We will not make any progress until Iraq's borders are secure.

PS: And, their bombs and weapons will have to returned, because they han't used them yet and there was no evidence presented that they were going to do so.

It seems to me that the U.S must get tough with Syria.
I wonder why were putting up with Syria's BS.

I guess the suicide attacks will stop, or at least dwindle now. I mean, they caught a lot of insurgents, right? "
Do this about ten times, and *then* maybe it will gut the insurgency. Alas, they estimate about 10,000 in the insurgency.

You are right ... BUT, look at it this way. Every Jihadist dead now is one less terrorist who, instead of going to Iraq, could try to attack us elsewhere ... we rarely have the chance to kill the terrorists in this way elsewhere, until they kill our civilians and then we attack them with lawyers and indictments.
I prefer the JDAM method of Justice-serving.

Probably. After all, remember: the United States has lost the war in Iraq. I personally hoe that we lose this war like we lost to the Nazis (our troops continue to troll Germany to this very day seeking someone to whom we might surrender) rather than like we lost in Vietnam (Cambodia, then Saigon, then Laos fell to the evil communists in 1975).
Making our enemies the "moral and legal equivalent" of our citizens seems like we're heading for another Vietnam. The Democrats--who control the Senate--and even a few Republicans seem to oppose the troops at every opportunity and frequently take the side of the terrorists who (ironically) want all Americans dead.

I think as long as the Democrats keep giving the terrorists hope that America is on the verge of caving they'll keep on coming. That is what disgusts me most about what they (the Dems) are doing.

There is no such thing as infinite resource, and there is no such thing as infinite terrorists.

My best guess: we tolerate Syria not because we want to tolerate Syria but because the anti-American Democrats who control the United States Senate would demand--and receive--the surrender of the United States if we did anything about Syria. It's a purely political calculation. We can fight the war on terrorism only insomuch as the Congress permits, and the distinguished Senators are outright seditious.

When I first glanced at the title I thought this was going to be about the Magna Carta, since we seem to have quite a few historical threads.
