President Bush appealed for support, Thursday, June 23, 2005, of the Central American trade agreement as Congress moved a step closer to what could be the toughest vote on a trade deal in years. Bush stood with former officials from both parties as he made the appeal. Left to right are former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Trade Representative Carla Hills, Bush, former Commerce Secretary William Daily, and former Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman

U.S. President George W. Bush speaks about the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) in the Old Executive Building as senior members of former Republican and Democrat government administrations look on in Washington June 23, 2005. Bush asked that congress ratify the CAFTA trade pact, which has languished in Congress since the president signed it in May 2004, to stimulate the growth of commerce between the United States and five nations in Central America along with the Dominican Republic.

I would have to paraphrase ( I sure someone can find his statements). Rove was talking about how the liberals wanted to react to 9-11 versus the Republicans. The dems took offense and some want an apology from Rove (to counter Durbin), some want an apology from the WH, and others want Rove to resign. Ridiculous!

FNC and Carl Cameron were just documents from Moveon.org backing up Rove's statements.

Rove made a speech to a conservative group in New York, speaking of September 11th, and said that conservatives saw the twin towers ablaze and going down, and they knew we were at war, whereas liberals saw the same thing and started talking about legal proceedings and being more understanding of the kind of people who attacked us. Not one time did he say "Democrats" reacted this way, only liberals. Well, leading Democrats, including Hillary and many others, started screaming "how dare he!" at Rove, demanding he retract his statements or else resign. This is so funny and so telling, b/c all of them are openly admitting they are LIBERALS, by reacting to what he said about liberals, not Democrats. And in America, openly admitting you're a liberal does not help you politically except in a few liberal districts or states.
