I go back and forth about Joran. I don't think he deliberately killed her; he had too much going for him to be that stupid. But while getting rough with her or giving her too much of a drug, etc? Maybe. But I still don't count Dad VDS out. I think it's as possible he's guilty as his son. We heard over the weekend that Natalee had been in the VDS home several days before she disappeared and that he had been with Joran at the casino the night she did disappear. Natalee is a very attractive young woman and he was without his wife at the time. I also don't see that they are as wealthy and priviledged as has been reported. Their home is modest, Joran didn't own a car--didn't even have a driver's license, I believe, and Dad was a civil servant trying to get up further in the system. Would he let his son take the rap for him? He walked out to take a phone call while Greta was there and allowed his wife to continue the interview... I don't know about these two, but I wouldn't rule Dad out. Yet.
LOL
Ahoy matey!!
Right on and true to the core. NSNR
Have you ever been on a cruise? If someone goes missing from a cruise ship, then they have not properly monitored the well-being of the passenger? I really hope you are kidding about this.
Thanks for the updates. We've had storms here that knocked me off the net.
It doesn't fit their agenda.NSNR
Yeah, but he was only briefly questioned and had a full 10 days for his hands to heal. Did you read the part in this thread which stated that J is the God son of the police chief.
I totally agree! I think people are so eager to "solve" this that they are grasping onto every little thing they can to hang of these folks. I must admit that with the little bit of what we've been able to observe it seems that they're invovled somehow - but really when you look at it - we know so VERY FEW of the REAL facts. We can make assumptions - but there is SO LITTLE hard evidence.
I really wonder if things were turned around a little - and it was an Aruban girl missing here would we be so quick to accuse the young man... and his family.
My heart breaks for Natalee's family - I know they are hoping against hope for ANY answers - but I worry that we are very quick to rush to a judgment. If these fellows are involved in anyway - all the wild speculation on rumors can only hurt a case against them I think...
Well, I am back and I see you all have *let* this case get compltely out of control! :-0
Even though the evidence against the hotel guards was determined to be trumped up, we still believe it to be true... I'm Dan Rather... Reporting.
So, I DO NOT KNOW what you are talking about.
Where did "I" post anything about Americans and named a cruise ship line?
I repeat, I only stated what has been reported in the news, about people missing from ships. PERIOD!
Well chit, I was just about to call you! I had just written to Mo to ask about you. Nice of you to tell me you were going away. /sarcasm
Well, then all evidence against him may have been destroyed by the police.
I've read it, but I'm not going there...yet.
I would think someone would notice if his hands were unusually red, scratched and chafed the day after he was with a girl who went missing.
(My personal feeling is that the body was disposed of at sea.)
Left in a hurry and didn't really have access! Besides, YOU was gone, too!
Yes. Howlin leaves and the case goes back to square one! (Hope you had some nice time off.)
Yes, in a flat bottomed John boat on the Tombigbee River while cat fishing. Did you like the (liberal) well being? The Captain is overall responsible for the safety and welfare of the passengers on his boat.
It is called safety managment. Good to hear from again. NSNR
Then he would have needed access to a boat. I'm not sure about Aruban waters, but navigating Cayman waters at night is d-i-f-f-i-c-u-l-t, given the barrier reefs.
Quit being so obtuse. You are posting on such a discussion right now and have been for weeks, and yes, you and others have gone on ad-nauseum about other cases somehow trying to connect them with this one.
