Rove attacking Liberals is about as offensive as Dean attacking Conservatives. It's what they do.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
The liberals responded by demanding that airport screeners be federal employees BEFORE they even helped lift a finger to protect America.
THAT'S what the left did in response to 9/11

They really didn't like that Durbin business, did they?

"Why apologize for telling the truth?" That would be my response.

Schumer said Democrats were drafting a letter asking Rove to retract his remarks. Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., also called on President Bush to ``immediately repudiate Karl Rove's offensive and outrageous comments.'' They might have been offensive and outrageous (to them), but you don't apologize for the truth.

That's awfully defensive. He said "liberals" not "Democrats". Do they have a guilty conscience or something?

Tell Chuckie Schumer to take a leap. It is rare, indeed, that the human genome produces such a piece of unqualified sh*t.

Hey Democrats - retract this. I could never be a US senator - I would get kicked out for punching Nancy Pelosi in the head or giving Harry Reid an atomic wedgie or something...
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
I have taken the liberty of drafting Rove's apology:
"Sorry you were offended"

Good grief. I will be interested to see the WH response. Anything other than "get bent Chuck" would be inappropriate.

Schumer has the Chutzpah to say that Rove has injected politics into this fray? Here we go again, the kettle calling the pot black.
What did Pelosi, Durbin, Ried including Schumer say about this war. Rove's remarks were docile compared to what has been said by the left.

I'm surprized Schumer didn't call Rove a Dirty little Nazi, like all the Military that serve George W. Hitler...

Well, their internal polls must be showing that a majority of Americans are still backing our troops, feel that 9/11 was bad, and believe the Jihadists here and around the world are a threat to us.
Otherwise Durbin would have never done his pseudo apology and Chucky wouldn't be so upset.
They are still so arrogant and still believe that they can say anything bad about America, our troops, our president and support the Jihadists without a back lash.
Well it "ain't" working for them anymore with the internet, Fox News, Rush, Sean and other conservative talk show hosts.

Schumer: Because it's devastating to our case!
