Rove said the Democratic Party made the mistake of calling for ``moderation and restraint'' after the terrorist attacks.
___________
Remember sKerry's "GLOBAL TEST"?
Look at what they want to do in G'itmo! And they are saying that Rove is insulting the Dims? He is just saying the truth! The prisoners there were the ones attacking us after 9/11. Oh, wait. New York. Sorry. Only from the city where it is OK for kids to send hate mail to our Troops.

``The one thing New York has had since Sept. 11 is unity,'' said Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y. ``To inject politics into this and to defame a large number of people'' is outrageous, he said. ``It's not what New York and America is all about.''
Ah, well, at least now we have an indication of what Sen. Charles Schume might identify as "outrageous" rhetoric
as opposed to what isn't

I don't remember hearing Schumer or any other RAT decrying the comments made by Durbin that defamed our Military. Durbin needs to resign.
To: rwa265
Now that's an apology every Republican could honestly offer to all the Dembats.

Rove's apology should be at least as fair as Turban Durbin's.
Karl- a little something extra in this month's check would be appreciated!
Do I really need a sarc tag?

I love it. The more they whine, the more they publicize what he said, which is empirically true.
``liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers.''
Well, they did. Therapy was widely offered, at state expense, to counter the emotional effects of 9/11. And does anyone remember John Kerry saying during the campaign that he would like to indict Bin Laden in a New York court? Howard Dean also complained that UBL had not been tried and should not be presumed guilty. BTW, Bin Laden would have financial resources to pay for his defense that would have dwarfed those of O.J. Simpson and Michael Jackson. Bin Laden would walk in a U.S. court. It would not be hard to find a juror or two in which you could conjure reasonable doubt.
Again, what Rove said is empirically true. Whine on, Chuck Schumer, whine on.

..............it is time to put up the videotapes of the two planes flying into each of the two towers, as well as the apocalyptic nature of the aftermath of these attacks and the attack on the very bastion of our military command center, the Pentagon.YES!!!!!......and the sooner the better for everyone.
To: steel_resolve
Yeah, I couldn't be questioned by Teddy Kennedy and then having him tell me I should resign in disgrace.
I'd go on a 5 minute rant about Chappaquiddik. Wonder if it would be played on the nightly news.

Rove should retract the ending line.
...and then just keep going on about how weak the Dems are on the war on terror etc.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
I can't believe this is not from the Onion. What a bunch of hypocrits. First we have Durbin who is unapologetic for condeming the military as a bunch of Nazi's then we have them screaming bloody murder after Rove tells the truth! Amazing!

The truth requires no defense.
This would also make a GREAT T-shirt!
Heads up, "Those Shirts"!!!
