A helping of Zogby's special sauce for McLame incoming later today!

McCain will NOT win the nomination. Neither will Rudy, or Newt. It's gonna be someone we're not really thinking about yet.
*cough* Mike Pence *cough*

Perhaps...she's been looking better lately (candidate-wise).

I think Condi will probably pull a Liddy Dole and modify her position on life issues if she is going to make a run for it.

George Allen. Make it 3-out-of-4 "Georges" since 1988. He's very good.

(The key question according to pollster John Zogby is 'How strong will the Christian conservatives be? Will they be able to block Rudy, or for that matter, Sen. McCain? That is the $64,000 question.')
Answer: Yes, Christian conservatives will be able to block Rudy, and McCain has no chance in heck.
Can I now collect my $64K Mr. Zogby?

Who is Mike Pence?
If people have to ask that question, at this point, the guy doesn't have a prayer.

I don't think her view is as bad as it sounds. My take is that she is pro-life but understands that simply outlawing abortion can't and won't happen anytime soon. Also she seems like a RILOM type (Rape, Incest, Life of Mother).
In other words, she could pull it off.

Allen does have the bucks, but zero recognition nationally. A good one for the VP slot though
To: RockinRight
Rudi or Jeb with
Condi as VP in '08 would be absolutely unbeatable.
To: sinkspur
Congressman from Indiana. As Reaganesque as you can get without being the Gipper himself. He could pull it off.

There is about as much chance of a moderate Republican winning the GOP nomination as there is of a moderate Democrat winning their's.
To: sinkspur
Mike Pence is by far and away the best candidate we have.He is the only candidate that can win the support of the entire right. It is not important that people know who he is now(it is actually a plus)It is important that they know who he is in 08.

Carter won because of the Nixon resignation.
There's nothing similar on the horizon that an obscure politician like Pence could take advantage of.
Besides, the GOP has two high-powered superstars in Rudi and McCain who will never let anybody else gain any traction.
It will be one of those two.
