GTA...Is that the inspiration of these small-brained idiots who tear down city streets at 90 mph causing death and mayhem, and who zip in and out of lanes on the freeway, endangering the rest of us?

Nah, those idiots have been around for *decades* before the GTA games were ever made.

Geez, with all my violent video game experience I must be a cold-blooded killer. I can also double jump, reach high places by using the blast of my rocket laucher for an extra push and fire a chaingun one handed with uncanny accuracy as I do a half twisting forward flip over an enemy. Whoda thunk it?!?

I can slay dragons:

Same here. I am not a good gamer, nor do I have the patience to complete all the missions.

With GTA, I rarely actually do the missions. I usually just drive around doing whatever.

Sometimes I will do a mission to do something different, but I don't have the patience or ability to complete the game probably by doing every little mission.

Some of the stinking timed missions are too short...lol

Too bad there isn't a cheat code to just complete all the missions like some games.

I just picked it up myself, it's quite fun. My only problem with it is the server browser, mainly the fact that you can't save favorite servers, or have a friends list. Other than that, the gameplay is intense and fun, especially the 64 player maps.

I don't get it yet. It just seems like running around at random, getting killed at random. I thought it would be more realistic, i.e. taking down targets in a step-by-step manner using American military doctrine.

Perhaps when I understand what's going on better.

It definitely takes a bit to get the hang of things, but if you try and get into more organized squads, or fly around with a partner in a blackhawk, you can be fairly effective.

Expecting college-age kids to follow American military doctrine is a bit much, though. ;)
