A tough call, let people starve to death, or support a regime which may someday nuke us, or our allies. Hmmmm.... Its way past time we start putting America and Americans first. If private organizations in this country want to send aid to N. Korea...so be it...at least they have the freedom to make that decision; unlike the average-Joe American, who is involuntarily is feeding the armies of N. Korea through his tax dollars.

I cannot wait for the blind defenders of the executive to tell me how this is "strategery". I call BS. Both the State department and the executive administration have failed miserably to solicit approval from we the people.

Yep, this is just as weak as the Clinton-Carter policy. The shakedown has worked.

America is insane to think our generosity will EVER be acknowledged, recognized, appreciated or change a single lunatic's hatred for us.....
Especially in places like North Korea, Africa or "Palestine".
It will simply permit them to survive, perhaps long enough to kill my grandchildren...and YOURS.
Lions will eat sheep and chickens....
WAKE UP.

Phew, for a minute there I thought the headline said he were giving more food aid to North Korea. But then I remembered we had a conservative in the White House...er...a...

There is BS a plenty with our Prez & his policies. Funny, I don't remember him campaigning as a big spender.

My thought too. Oh, but the prez doesn't believe in the food should be used as a diplomatic weapon even if the food never gets to the hungry but goes into the pockets of a very small few.

How could we be so stupid? The Bush Admin is nuts.
The RATs are anti-American.
Like you said, how can we be so stupid?
There are a large nbumber of military procurement projects that are being scaled back becuase we "have no money". They will be raising TAXES (that is right, folks)--they will be RAISING TAXES to pay for social security, that corrupt wealth transfer scheme, AND raising the retirment age because "we can't afford it".
The U.S. continues to give money away, cancel debt and push the debt level close to $10 trillion yet we continue to give away resources to corrupt regimes out to nuke us.
There is only one explanation--our "leaders" care nothing about national sovereignty and national security. They all act like we are a nation of pure philanthropists, giving especially to the most anti-American regimes.
R U ready for a revolution yet?

It is purely political move by the president to show how compassionate and concerned he is. The left can't condemn theis because they know that they would first have to admit that communism hasn't worked there either.
