Perry taped using vulgar slang

Star-Telegram Austin Bureau
AUSTIN - When California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger recites his signature movie line, "Hasta la vista, baby," crowds cheer.
But Texas Gov. Rick Perry was cringing Tuesday after he was captured on a news video a day earlier using street slang for a common vulgarity at the end of an interview with a Houston TV reporter.
"Adios, mofo," the governor said into a live microphone and video camera after being interviewed at an Austin studio via satellite by Ted Oberg of KTRK-TV. The station aired the clip, which was taped Monday afternoon, during its newscasts Tuesday and included the fact that Perry called later to apologize.
Asked about the remark during his news conference to outline his plan to overhaul the state's school finance system, Perry reiterated his apology and said it was an inside joke directed at his deputy press secretary, Robert Black.
"I called Ted this morning, and I apologized to him," Perry said. "It was some inappropriate banter that was directed towards Robert Black, and no offense toward him ... nor anyone else. It was inappropriate."
Black said later that he had used the phrase in the governor's company while the two were watching the NBA finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons.
Black said Perry thought the satellite link had been severed between him and the Houston reporter.
It's not the first time Perry, a Republican who is up for re-election next year, has been videotaped in a faux pas. As lieutenant governor in 2000, an irritated Perry was captured on video asking a state trooper, "Why don't you let us get on down the road?" after his driver had been stopped for speeding.
There's a CZJ rule? Amazing!
He did sign into law the new travel/carry handgun law.
This man lost his "mojo." If you find it, he would greatly appreciate its return.
I'll bite.
Well, ok. Here's the antidote.
Nice line...I gotta remember that one.
She's married to one of the biggest libs in H'wood!.......That's just as bad........
LOL!
Truer damn words were never spoken!
(Though my kids are only allowed to 'acronym' to an extent, and outright cussing is limited to where I can't hear 'em!)
More of a tradition than a rule. She's a hot mofo!
Perry does not have a reputation as someone MENSA eagerly waits to see a membership application from. So, him doing something like this does not surprise me. But enough about Perry's mouth, how about a Hillary story? This is from a buddy of mine who was in the protective services:
A young secret service agent was assigned to the Clinton White House. He was told that he could speak to whomever he saw in the White house except one person. Under no conditions should he ever even recognize one particular person. On his first day on the job the person he was warned about passed by his post. Unfortunately the agent could not stand silent, he was raised to be polite. The agent said to the person "good morning ma'am". To which Hillary Clinton, without even looking at the young man replied "F**k you!"
OK: The "FU" part of those acronyms stand for something that the admin might pull and ban whoever posts it, but as a euphemismistic illustration, let's use "Fouled Up."
So "SNAFU" would stand for "Situation Normal, All Fouled Up" or "Situation Normally All Fouled Up."
"FUBAR" stands for "Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition."
Man, what have I been doing, living under a rock?
Mmmm, yummy ... even better than the T-Mobile ads.
The reporter is a geek. Ted Oberg from channel 13 in Houston. He needs a pocket protector. A big one!
It's just another overreaction by mediots.
Not necessarily; I probably wouldn't have known this stuff without being in the military, or at least civil service.
Damnit! I resent that!....LOL
Peronally, I thought it was hilarious.
And true.
Um,no. That was Clayton Williams when he ran for re-election against The Motorcycle Mama, Ann Richards.
Then again, on of them may have said it too.
I think you are correct but Hoffeines got caught by the mic also, trying to remember.
