About once a year I review a book in this column that ought to be required reading for people who care about politics. Edward Klein's "The Truth About Hillary" is such a book. The pre-publication leak about the book that Bill Clinton had allegedly talked about raping his wife was off-putting for me. I don't usually waste my time reading salacious scandal books from the left or the right. But I was advised to take a look at this book, which I read last weekend. It was worth my time. This is not a scandal book intended merely to gratify the reader's salacious interests. Instead, Mr. Klein has written a serious political and psychological biography of the most likely next Democratic nominee for president and thus, quite plausibly I fear, the next president of the United States. Although this is a heavily researched book that includes amongst its sources almost 100 people who are or were personally close Mrs. Clinton, this is not a peek through a keyhole. Instead, it is a peek and more than a peek into the mind of Hillary. And, whether you like or hate Hillary, the inside of her mind is a fascinating place in which to rove about. Hillary haters will certainly find further evidence to support their sentiment. Principled liberals , I suspect, will be deeply disconcerted by what they will find out about her mind in this book. But for people who like their presidents, ruthless, expedient and very smart (in a dangerous time those are not all bad features), the portrait Mr. Klein paints may well not be seen as negative. In fact, as the author notes, Mrs. Clinton has more than a little in common with Richard Nixon.

NYC, perhaps. Upstate NY and Central NY, no. Many counties in NY voted for Bush, even the one I live in.
Where do you get off making that statement to Maria S? You owe her an apology since you can't draw any such conclusion from her post #15!
Go back to bed....
That's your answer.
It would be interesting if Pirro runs against the heinous one for senate.
No kidding. I would like to know about that. . . .
I'd vote for Godzilla before I'd vote for her. I hadn't thought of Pirro, though. He's local and maybe...
She'd put the heinous one to shame.
Thanks! Anyone who thinks I DON'T recognize the evil in Hillary Clinton is very wrong!
I only pointed out the chapter from the book in case someone wanted to spend $3-4 for the magazine rather than $20 for the whole book. It probably IS one of the more revealing chapters from the book, and gives some insight into Hillary's real soul, intent, and personality.
If Hillary Clinton existed in a dicatorship country like Iraq or Cuba, I'm convinced she would use force to quell oppossition, serious force.
I found this funny.....in many ways.
Keep digging your hole. Most decent people acknowledge making mistakes or apologize for making false accusations like you did with Maria's post #15. Not only have you done neither, you're vulgar remark (above) is uncalled for and shows you have no class.
You need to mind your own business or go back home to DU!
I'm free to address you on this board anytime I wish. Your DU remark is whacko. Did you forget to take your meds today?
You're welcome. Did you check out his #30 post to me? This guy is very disturbed.

As you all recall, the apologists were pointing out that when Francois Mitterand died, both his wife and his mistress were at the funeral along with the children of both. This was held out to be evidence of a superior French attitude toward this sort of thing.
This was all well and good, but even the French would draw the line if Madame and Madamme Mitterand were at the head of a procession that turned into a parade of 500 big haired women with bad makeup, all members of Clintons Gypsy family tree.
Here's the situation. He is actually a member of a very small ethnic group that tries to keep marriages within the confines of the tribe. They have so few people they have to do it one man/one woman/one child and move on. See his family for evidence of this. They have been dysfunctional for several centuries.
Note that about 4 years ago a Gypsy group in Kansas City told us that his Grandfather, Billy Blythe, was actually "King of the Gypsies". This is born out by the evidence.
The early colonial period Gypsies and Travelers are fairly unidentifiable in American records. We know they were here but they are not identified as such because this nation was so hospitable to them. We know that Clintons grandmother was a fortune teller and traveled with carnivals. So did Bill and his mother when he was young. Also, note Hillary's travel last year: first to the seven sacred hills of Bosnia centered on Tuzla; then to the Church of St. Mary at Ephesus which is the sacred site of Black Sara, patron saint of Gypsies,;then to Athens to visit the Temple of Athena whose totem is the owl, the Gypsy God of Death! Circumstantial? Perhaps, but it is the preponderance of circumstantial evidence that creates the impression of something more than chance.
She also spoke before the assembled elders of the Gypsy community in Budapest. In addition, she is into seances, or at least the semblance of seances. Recall her communion with Eleanor Roosevelt.
Notice also Bill's seeming mis-quotes from the Bible. His Bible is published by the. It is Apostolic and Pentecostal with roots buried deep in central European nomadic cultures. Joseph Smith belonged to it before he formed his own group, the Mormons. In its earliest manifestations the Church of the First Born was not Pentecostal, but that has changed.
Some of these churches use peyote as part of the sacraments, having picked up chemically induced trance states in the far East centuries ago. American Indians traded peyote cactus buttons all over North America. Its use ranged far beyond the Southwest. The drug of choice today is, of course, cocaine.
Others within these cults also use the Book of Abraham. David Koresh talks about the Book of Abraham. David Koresh, aka Howell, is, as best can be determined, a fairly closely related cousin to Bill Clinton. He is at least as closely related as Mike McClarty or Vincent Foster.
There is a big Church of the First Born Congregation in Hope Arkansas. For comparative purposes, contrast this group in the Columbus, Nashville, Hope Arkansas triangle with their closely related cousins in the Columbus, Nashville, Seymour Indiana triangle. The Crawford family genealogy records offer a good track on this ? one man one woman one child ? it's simply a way to avoid genetic disease problems in a small group that is forced to inbreed.
Somebody should ask Bill Clinton if he is a Gypsy and did he ever belong to the Church of the First Born or does he know anyone who did. They might be surprised at the answer they get.
