If that's all it was, then you're right, Brian maybe went overboard trying to be macho or something (we're all probably guilty of that as guys...at times). But I was under the impression that it was a rather forceful pat. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. My only point was that if the touch was at all forceful then the instigator gets all the trouble he deserves--including someone getting in his face. I apologize for not making myself clearer.

I saw that on FNC last night.
Kilmeade is a good egg.
What Tofel did was inappropriate. He undoubtedly knew she'd bettered him in the interview. His response was to try and salvage his already damaged and poor self-image by making an unwarranted physical contact accompanied by a condescending taunt. All this when she was visibly and justifiably emotional after the interview.
I see nothing defensible in his actions. And apparently neither did Kilmeade who drew the line in the sand with Tofel. After which he threw another tantrum and refused to leave the building having to be escorted out.
Adults who behave as thuggish toddlers don't deserve my sympathy. I can't fathom why you give them yours.
