Let's just hope that a homeless dude and an exchange of vows wasn't involved.

The cub scout training must have kept him alive.

Area where he was found, he would have had to find out how to cross a river. Very minor injuries if any according to Fox News.

(This post wasn't cleared by the Fresno Mafia, so I expect a personal attack any moment.)

If you're a kid and you're going to go missing, make sure you go missing in UT.
Thank God he's alive.

Seeing his tearful Mom last night on the news tore this big guy up. I am soooooooo happy they found him. Praise God!
My son is also named Brennan, so this story kinda felt close to home.

According to the emergency workers, some parts of the river are only ankle deep, while others are much deeper and faster-moving--owing to the large amounts of melting snow still coming downstream. He could have easily crossed an ankle-deep river.
The one thing I wonder about is this: if he had so much outdoor training with the Scouts and with his father's trips into the wilderness, why wouldn't he have followed one of the first rules taught to anyone going to spend long periods of time in the woods: If you get lost, stop moving. Stay put.
Regardless, it's a miracle that he was found alive. His parents' nightmare is finally over.

Maybe you should ask one of the mods to change your title, adding Utah's missing Scout, or such.

If you get lost, stop moving. Stay put.Yup. (1) You're closer to where you were last seen.
(2) You expend less energy and therefore dehydrate/starve less quickly.
