Exactly! I'm in favor of leaving him JUST where he is; and give him a microphone!

King Richard II is not happy, the minions will frown upon lil dickie durbin.

LOL

No matter how much the media tries to spin this one, lil dick ruined his senate and political career, he will be forever tarnished in the yes of most good Americans.

"Call or email your Senators and Senator Frist and ask for them to sponsor a censure resolution against Durbin. I did."

Should I call Durbin's office and ask him to censure himself?

He is most capable of speaking from both sides of his mouth, should not be a problem.

Then why didn't he do this sooner. I sense political postering more than real anger.

Sincere gratitude and thanks to your child in the military, and may God bless him or her, and all your family. The courage, honor, and sacrifice of our military humbles us all.

"Then why didn't he do this sooner. I sense political postering more than real anger."

I think you're right. Maybe he was hoping it would all go away, but if he were really angry, he'd have spoken out immediately even if he sensed it would go away.

Patrick Daley didn't just enlist. He went through airborne training at Benning, then went straight to Special Forces training. That boy has great big ones and we should be proud of him.

I tend to agree .. I believe we are derelict in our duty if we allow people to speak evil (and lie) about our military.

I think it's time for a few emails.

Daley is your typical politician and graft and corruption are hallmarks of Chicago politics.

But there are certain issues he is pretty well grounded on. Our men in uniform, the disabled etc. He was very outspoken about Shiavo and such.

If Terry had lived in Chicago the story would have been a lot different. Michael would have slipped and bumped his head and Terri would still be alive. Sometimes a little corruption is a useful thing.

You're right about that. The hospice might have been visited by a lot of inspectors and I don't think there is a nursing home or other public facility around that can stand too close an inspection.
Also if michael had been working on the Cook County Jail, well I'm not saying anything physical might have happened to him, but I imagine he would not have been happy about different shift changes and job assignments.
and I don't think any two bit probate judge would have had the clout to stand up to Daley.

I'm sure it's just a co-incidence that Durbin gives it another shot shortly after Da Mare belches a little fire. uhuh.

But I still think three times is a charm. Apology # 3 coming up in less than a week. It's really difficult to word a proper apology when you're not really sorry for anything.

Daley's son enlisted recently, I would imagine he was sincere.

I was stunned to hear his plans and achievements. He is included in my prayers for out wonderful military. Not quite as proud as of my own Navy Nuke son but proud.

Call me cynical, but it's all about his political future.
