Walter Mondale struck me as an honest, decent liberal. His views were misguided, but seems to be a decent guy.

Mondale was a tax-and-spend, hardcore, leftist liberal who HATED Ronald Reagan and Republicans in general. He seems much nicer now than he really was because we are contrasting him to the current crop of liberal politicians, which, unfortunately, make him look good by comparison.

My wife had her first siezure on the 4th of July 2002. After radiation and chemo and a crainiotomy to remove the tumor she passed away on Dec 18 of the same year. Prayers for ANYONE who has that horrible condition. You not only have to endure watching the progress of the disease but you also have to watch someone you love gradually lose their mind.

I am sorry for your loss. That seems the common time-frame for this vicious tumor ( glio-blastoma) my wife Mary's covered the whole frontal lobe shortly after her radiation treatments ended. All cleared up and then BAM! Back and worse than ever.
