Kind of funny, but sad also. I have actually met people that claimed to belong to this. They love pleasure so much, that the old hedonists curse took effect. It got boring.
Back in the late 1960's, my aunt was a member of a Bay Area large cat owner's club (she owned an ocelot). LeVay was also a member, being the proud owner of two beautiful black panthers.
They became friends, in spite of their relisous differences (she was a Mormon and he was an athiest). From what I recall, LaVey was a nice enough guy with a fairly simple plan: make a lot of money and get a lot of...um...female companionship.
I'm impressed. LaVey's son Satan Xerxes Carnacki LaVey is still only 11 years old

LaVey was exactly a publicity-shy hide light under a bushel type. Remember the '70s? Along with the Brady Bunch there was LaVey's Family Church of Satan - with photos of cute daughter Zeena. Now we are asked to believe there was also a son LaVey was grooming to take over Satanism, and noöne, no even LaVey himself mentioned it.
Plus Jess "I play the son of a Satanist" has not been able to produce one shred of evidence establishing his claim.
