Terri Schiavo's husband buried her cremated remains in a Clearwater cemetery Monday, inscribing on her bronze grave marker that ``I kept my promise.''
David Gibbs, an attorney for the woman's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, said inscribing the marker that way was a nasty political statement by Michael Schiavo, who held the service and burial Monday before telling her family.
``Obviously, that's a real shot and another unkind act toward a grieving mom and dad,'' Gibbs said.
After earlier announcing plans to bury his wife's ashes in their native Pennsylvania, Michael Schiavo instead interred them at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, near Tampa, his attorney, George Felos, said in a short news release Monday.

Did she ever explain why she "fibbed"?
I think it has something to do with rocks and boxes;o}
So, if the 90% of FReepers who disagree with you would just go away, FR would be dreamy?
Maybe it is you that is out of place?
Just a thought...
#1. You stated that PVS is often misdiagnosed.
#2. Then you gave me a link of a woman who recovered from PVS.
#3. I said that maybe the recovered woman wasn't really PVS. Since it's so misdiagnosed and all.
#4. You stated that Jackie Rhodes said she was worried about Terri the night before she collapsed.
#5. I said she never testified to that under oath. I gave you the link which proves my statement.
You have a problem with the truth but sound just like a Democrat trying to make it the other way around. Try harder. It's not working.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? To prove my point I am offering $100,000 on a $25,000 wager for ANY neurologist (and $125,000 for any neurologist/bioethicist) involved in Terri Schiavo's case--including all the neurologists reviewed on television and in the newspapers who can accurately single out PVS patients from functioning patients with better than 60% accuracy on CT scans.
I will provide 100 single cuts from 100 different patient's brain CT's. All the neurologist has to do is say which ones represent patients with PVS and which do not.
If the neurologist can be right 6 out of 10 times he wins the $100,000.
I love that adage.
Please remember that folks....we are in the majority on this topic here at FR....the polls on FR prove that point....read the homepage if you need a reminder of what FR is all about.
Still waiting on those Democrat commercials about the Republicans wanting to feed Terri.....I will be looking for them in '06.
So after 15 years and dozens of doctors, neurologists, therapists and nurses...you don't think Terri was PVS?
Well, then I can certainly understand your concern about this case. Myself, I don't think in conspiracies that large.
Heh...
THAT has been MY point the whole time I have been conversing with Peach...and as I surmised, Peach and others are unwilling and UNABLE to look that in the eyes. Sad, really. To be so in love with the Devil and his details. That's how he ensares you.
uhhhhhhhh... Goodyear?
Actually, retreads should be banned. The envirowackos won't let them be.
The "majority" voted for Bill Clinton. Twice. I wouldn't let that give you too much comfort.
I have no problem with folks disagreeing with me. What happened here, however, went far beyond disagreement, well out into the realm of mass hysteria.
I think that's the only way to end this FR controversy. Large fonts won't do it.
We could probably even sell tickets to the libs who would love to see us beating each other's brains out.
what screen name would that be ubf?
The majority also voted for Pres. Bush.....so what is the point....a poll of FR members is fairly representative of where they stand.....
I am glad my President was on the right side of this issue....
Still waiting on those Democrat commercials.....
I'm not misinterpreting what you said.
What in the heck was Michael doing,
that the hospital staff would consider asking for a restraining order?
You have a problem with the truth but sound just like a Democrat trying to make it the other way around. Try harder. It's not working.
This statement from someone who can't even be bothered to read the autopsy for themselves? Incredible.
I won't post to you again. I can't abide someone who changes opinions in order to be correct.
You still haven't answered: What was wrong with the autopsy.
You made statements upthread, why don't you back them up?
Nice try.
