A Further Answer to Bush Haters

Is Treason the Only Policy the Democrats have to Offer? In America today, we have universities that suppress conservative organizations and views and promote Leftist socialist groups and ideals. We have a great preponderance of university professors who are extremely Liberal, and a vast majority of whom support the Democrat party, and are intolerant of opposing views. We have a large number of Left-wing organizations organizing protest marches against the war. We have a large number of desperate Liberals stoking the fires of hatred because they feel that the nation is ignoring them and their calls for impeachment of the President.

The majority of Americans still support the President and the policies his administration has pursued. Sure, there are exceptions, the old Democrat/MSM cabal have managed to turn public opinion against the most reasonable revision of the Social Security system-private accounts-by their constant lies and fear mongering, aided by the highly partisan AARP which misses no opportunity to frighten the elderly in this nation by implying that President Bush’s plan would take away their Social Security checks, and have been successful in driving public opinion against some other administration policies. But a majority of Americans still support President Bush. Be that as it may, the anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-America drum-beat continues. The big question is; are we headed for, or already in, another culture clash such as we saw in the early ‘70s?

We have a great preponderance of university professors who are extremely Liberal

More important, we have 'a great preponderance of ELEMENTARY and HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS who are extremely liberal' - they are the ones who are preparing our little, 'indoctrinated' kids so that the kids are ready to be 'handed over' to the university professors. If the young chidren weren't being indoctrinated, and had stronger family ties and training at home, then the by the time they reached the university the lib professors wouldn't have such an open field day.

The time for these questions and investigations is after the conclusion of the war, or prior to the onset of hostilities.

And there's the problem. It's not a traditional war in the sense that you have a defined enemy (at least not one the administration is willing to identify) and a reasonable definition of victory or defeat. Either way, what are the criteria for determining when this war is over? It's over when it's over? (That would be my first response.) This is a low-level war that could go on for years much like the cold war (again depending on how 'war' is defined). If we are forbidden to ask any questions until after the war, that effectively means we can never ask any questions. The longer this situation continues, the more likely it is to become permanent. I don't know to what extent questioning civilian leadership in this war is appropriate. Certainly it would not include the invention and distortion of reality by the critics. However, I do know we can't fall into the trap of quashing all dissent in the name of supporting the war.

Evidently, you didn't get the memo. Blackbird.

I don't mind the questions about what's right or wrong about policy, even during the war. What I mind are the lies they spread as a means to ending the war.

I wouldn't have a problem with Durbin and Boxer and company if I believed their intentions were to strengthen America--and I don't even mean strengthen our position in the world, but as a nation, as conceived by our founders. Durbin and Boxer and company, though, are One Worlders of various degrees whose ultimate goal is to put our soverign nation under the control of a Multicultural BS Sectarian-ocracy. As an agnostic American, it frightens the hell out of me that these enemies of religious belief--which as recently as MLK days showed that religious faith is one of numerous ways to preserve human and individual rights--want to create a worldwide society which has religious and philosophical beliefs regulated by their sectarian faith, a godless religion with crushing all opposition as its goal.

I wouldn't be thinking bad thoughts about these folks for criticizing our government if I thought they were doing so for anything except their own agenda, which is the grasping of power the people still refuse to give them at the ballot box.

I like that term Joe, I think I'll send Mike Rivero an e-mail suggesting he change the name of his website to Moonbatcentral.com
