Double standard? If Jessica's father had even "thought" the people in that trailor knew the whereabouts of his daughter, or had information that could lead him to her... don't YOU think he would have gone over there with his guns loaded?!

I am sure he would have. But informing LE and letting them do their job would be the right and smart thing to do. Monday morning quarterbacking here!!

yes but can you understand, in an environment where you have very little reason to think LE is up to the task, and this is a beloved family member you are looking for, you might not do what is for the best. i am not ADVOCATING vigilantism, but i sure as heck can understand what would give rise to those feelings here and i will NOT judge these people for it.

For all we know, it was the Aruban police's idea to go to the house.

They seem to have a pretty tight grip on everything else; I imagine they could have stopped the Alabama group if they wanted to.
