yes but can you understand, in an environment where you have very little reason to think LE is up to the task, and this is a beloved family member you are looking for, you might not do what is for the best. i am not ADVOCATING vigilantism, but i sure as heck can understand what would give rise to those feelings here and i will NOT judge these people for it.
I just don't see the problem here; maybe I am missing something, but why not go to the home of the last person to see the girl alive? Time was of the essence, IMO.
