Again?? CA's shaking again?
Seems like there's been increased activity in that department lately.

Felt nothing in Fresno. Son in Castro Valley (Bay Area) and a son in Santa Barbara. What's up with all these earthquakes?

Me thinks that this is the beginings of the big one. Anyone remember the 7.9 in Chile almost a week ago?

Wonder if the plates are still twitching from that December quake, and the twitches are working their way around the Ring of Fire?

It's probably all those Californians all shook up when they hear how much their homes are worth now. It's all that excitement over their net worth. (am I jealous, you bet).

Hi: Please add me to your ping list. I live on the N OR coast, Tillamook County, and last week, we had evacuations here due to the tsunami warnings. Thanks, Bev

We've been overdue for quakes larger than 5.0 if you go by long term averages. Hopefully these recent clusters are just the earth catching up with the historical stats.

This quake happened just after 1:30AM local time (PDT), which is now over 5 hours ago. Does a 5.0 tremor even justify mention? Seems like a routine event to me and apparently nobody in California even felt it.

Thanks for the ping!
Looks like the quakes are moving up the coast!
