Good Morning!

I never said that the reason we went into Iraq was because of the 9/11 links, nor did the Bush Administration. I also never said this is the reason I support us going into Iraq.

I am merely pointing out that the realm of possibility exists. To discount it and say it never could have happened seems to fly in the face of logic.

We know that the Huessein family brought down a reign of terror onto not only his people, but those of his neighbors. We know that he had suffered a humiliating defeat of the United States in the first Gulf War. We also know that he ignored any UN Resolutions that were presented to him.

We also know that there were Al Queda terrorist camps within Iraq. Yes, he was not an Islamic Fundamentalist, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't consort with Bin Laden to get back at the Americans. To say there is no way he could have never financed terrorism with Al Queda just seems odd. I don't understand how you can dismiss this as of not possibly happening? He had the means, the motivation, and certainly the finances to do so.

Regards...

Well, what you described is not saying Iraq was involved in 9/11. I don't mind what you wrote and there is validity to your analysis. What I ask is that my leaders tell me this and not try and confuse the issue by dumbing it down and trying to link 9/11 to Saddam.

Historically, yes, what I am saying is that Saddam was linked to 9/11. 9/11 was a culmination of events. You've been told in a round about way, you just have to go back and look at what has been said.

I resent the leaders that dumb down the issue and say that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, or that there was no reason to take him out. He was one of the lead cast of characters that has lead to the instability in the Mid-East and he has perpetrated the hatred of America and freedom by terrorists.

Did Sadaam push the buttons for the attacks on 9-11? I don't think he was directly involved in the planning of it, but he certainly was involved in the culmination of it. Just as the media and left represent there were no WMD when we got there. We know he had them, because he used them on Iraqi citizens. We know he was a terrorist, he terrorized the citizens of his own country.

President Bush has stated we are there to free the Iraqi people. That is a simplified answer. Had there been no Sadaam, had there not been certain Mid-East leaders of the past, Bid Laden would have no platform to rally the hatred and terrorism that he has. 9-11, the USS Cole, etc., were the culmination of Sadaam and others.

Show these pictures! Send them to everyone you know, ESPECIALLY the liberals!

That HATE that. They've spent every day since it happened, trying to isolate 9-11 into it's own little reality box, that's disconnected to anything else - they did the same thing to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

In their puny little minds, Hiroshima and Nagasaki are completely isolated events, the product of bloodthirsty American Imperialism and oafish bullies in Washington - "they knew about Pearl Harbor before it happened, doncha know", they twitter with smug knowing-smirks - and they completely IGNORE anything Japan had done up to that day we lit the sun over their cities. They ignore the Bataan March. They ignore the POW camps, the deaths on the beaches, the horror of Pearl Harbor, and the oceans of little white crosses of our fallen soldiers. If you try to bring it up, they retreat to the dog-eared "Well, we DESERVED it, after all" sniveling.

They're doing the same to 9-11. It kills me, I've watched them do it since the day it happened. 9-11 has NOTHING to do with anything else in the Middle East, Osama and his followers operated in a pure vacuum, with no connections to anything else in the world, and besides, they snivel, "We deserved it."

Don't let them get away with it. Bring up 9-11. Talk about it, and how it made you feel. They can't handle emotions that raw, that pure. They're so disconnected from themselves, and the people around them (hug a tree, but never thee!), it throws them off balance and they get skitterish and nervous. Yeah, they'll start whining and snivelling about Bush and Cheny and HALIBURTON! and oil, but just turn the screws tighter - they'll lose it, and you'll have made them look like fools - a fine sport any day of the week.

It's time to turn the tide on these worms. If you know liberals, like I do, you know that their worlds are flimsy constructs, because they have NO foundations to build upon - their whole world-concept is built upon the shifting sands of pop-culture, drug use, narcissism, laziness, and dysfunctional denial and rage. They really are wussies, down deep inside. I mean, c'mon...Al Franken? That's the best they can do? Please.

Yeah, I've been "in the black," but actually it's hard to measure because I'm subsidized in my research, etc., by my university. Still, for about 10 years now, every book I write (save the novel) has had an advance attached to it. I don't write "on spec" any more. My advances have steadily climbed---I'm no Clancy, and not even an Arthur Schlesinger or David Hackett Fischer or David McCulloch. But I'm heading in the right direction.

Unless the novel is published in the next 12 months, my next book, due out 2006, is tentatively called "Why Americans Win Wars" from Sentinel. I fully expect it to match PHUSA's sales, if for no other reason than the name is out there now and I know better how to get the publicity, etc. Plus, the topic is such that I'll be called on by various media outlets as an "expert" (far from it)---but that's how they work. Finally, with that book I'm hoping I don't get sabotagued by someone like Woods, who put out his version of PHUSA in a rush as soon as Regnery found out what we were doing. (That's what I hear 'on the street,' that PIG was specifically designed to "steal a march" on our book---and it did: he got Hannity & Colmes, NY Times bestseller list, even though I bet our total sales right now are pretty close, and all the December publicity just TWO WEEKS before our book came out!)

I am sorry - that is a retarded analysis. To say Saddam was linked to 9/11 because well he was a bad guy and made the Middle East worse is the most Orwellian thing I have read. Stop trying to deceive yourself with lies and halftruths and justifications based thereof. Join me in the world of rational thinking and you will be better off.

The images of those planes flying into the buildings and ground and the people having to jump to their deaths are seared into my brain.
