Thank you.
9/11 Never Forget Mega Bump.
Forget? Hell no!
After reading through this thread, with breathtaking pictures, videos and written links to the 9/11 Attack, and reading the outrage by so many Freepers that many of our congresscritters seem to have forgotten that attack,...
it was pointed out that the Media either has censured itself, or was going along with censuring the images of 9/11.
There seemed to be a similar theme to the posts, that we NEEDED, and the American people need to be reminded about why we are fighting, and why our soldiers deserve better treatment than they are getting in the media and on Capital Hill..
I posted that even here on FR, we do not have a "permanent" site for the 9/11 attacks, and suggested that I for one, would very much appreciate a site that had the different links, like the wonderful one that Jeff Head posted today, and the other links posted, available for viewing and/or comments 24/7/365....NOT just whenever there is a controversy like happened this last week...
I do believe that several other freepers also expressed the desire for one also, so I am suggesting a site up at the top, like the judicial nominee site, the Bolton nomination site, etc., that would be there to remind us everytime we log on to FR and also be convenient to all...
Thanks for the terrific forum you provide, JR, we do appreciate it.and I hope you consider my request...
Sleuth
The folks at DU make more of a fuss over a few ripped up Korans than they do over 9-11.
How can they forget that morning?
I know I never will.
I had forgotten about Barbara Olson. What a sweet, noble. spirit she was. Even when she was debating with stupid libs on tv she always kept her cool and kept smiling. How terrible that this sweet women was a victim to these evil barbaric savages. Her poor husband! When will these pathetic Democrats get that we are in a war and stop bad mouthing our country and our soldiers? I've had with them! I HOPE ALL YOU LIB RATS PAY DEARLY AT THE POLLS IN 2006 AND 2008 FOR YOUR TRAITOR LIKE BEHAVIOR. I despise all of them!
Chemical dependence.
bttt
President Bush has not forgotten.
Thanks for the ping. I know I'll need the hankies.
I think I'll email the links to some friends also and a Congress Critter or two.
I've been thinking about the young soldier we met last night and how blessed we are to have men like him in our military.
Please read my post #122
I was remiss in not adding your name to the message I posted to Jim Robinson, I saw your post right after I posted mine, so I do believe we both were thinking the same thing at the same time...I am sorry for not adding your name.
Thanks for reminding me..Jim, please be advised that Mr. Keys thought of the same idea, as well...thank you
I also wish to add that Old Sarge and Justanobody, seconded and thirded the request...and that Mr. Keys, suggestion actually was posted BEFORE mine...;
Thank you for posting this thread, Tumbleweed!
Rush is right.
At this point I have seen more stories, media editorials, headlines, congressional outrage, and images about Abu Ghraib than I ever did about 9-11. The September 11 coverage lasted about 3 months ... Abu Ghraib has gone on now (full force) for well over a year.
People like Ted Kennedy expressed sorrow over 9-11 ... for Abu Ghraib he was yelling ... red faced with spit flying out of his mouth and eyes bulging. I saw the same thing with presidential wanna-be Al Gore ... and other POS like him.
At his rate, the Gitmo stories will pass September 11 outrage very soon.
We MUST not forget ... I know I sure haven't.
"RICK RESCORLA: Help honor 911 Lifesaving Hero"
A true and tried American hero.
Rest in peace, Rick.
America will always remember you.
Well, that is an option. But I'm not there yet. I can produce solid evidence of 50,000 sales for PHUSA, and that has to count for something with SOME publisher.
Yeah, . . . yeah . . . no wait, NAZIS!!!!!
Well, originally my idea was a movie. But I didn't know how to write a screenplay, and got a couple of books. Screenplay writing is very different than novel writing, and since I didn't have the plot completely fleshed out, I thought it easier to begin with the novel, THEN go to film. The movie is the ultimate objective here.
If you haven't seen it, get "9/11 In Memoriam," a DVD available on Amazon about just NYC. It interviews the key people, esp. Guliani, plus people in his staff who had loved ones die; it has all the gruesome footage. A very powerful film.
