There is no conspiracy - this nation is full of contradictory people - people would complain the media is making a buck off the tragedy if they daily showed 9/11 images over and over again. Others would complain not enough of 9/11 is shown.

There is no media conspiracy to silence 9/11 images.

In Europe unedited images of body parts were shown in newspapers and on television. In America these images were edited because the media (rightly) knows there is an organised censorship element in the country against disturbing images - for the sake of the children of course. You know the censorship for the family's sake's types - they object even to showing 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'Schindler's List' unedited.

No, I will never forget that day.

It was that day that turned the hearts of several young junior's in high-school. Young boys who had been waffling around about school, colleges, and future graduations. On that day or soon following a dozen or so young high-school students talked to their parents, friends, and family about how to serve their country. In those moments that followed, a group of American kids were inspired to make life changing decisions. Adults convinced them to finish high-school and graduate, recruiters supported them in classes and physical education and patriotism. Soon high-school graduation was but a memory, and graduation from Parris Island was the goal, and then each one on to his specialty whether it be planes, radios, or tanks and bombs each with service in mind. One has been to the arena of battle and back, another is there now serving, and another anticipates his turn, and some have gone home to God.

Thanks for that link. Its been 3 yrs since I watched that and it as powerful as that day. Sept 11th should be a holiday to remember what happened and the victims, as well as why we fight this war.

The images of Sept 11th are never shown anymore -

Neil Cavuto or John Gibson, had the images on screen as they gave their end of program "memos" on Wednesday or Thursday.

Neil's "Common Sense" segment was outstanding, followed by John's "My Word" segment an hour later.

Okay, now I'm blubbering like a baby.

I canNOT for the life of me imagine the terror they felt, at staying where they were, nor the terror they must have felt, on the way toward earth.

God bless everyone of them, and hold their families and friends close.

The media may have a blackout on these photos, but as long as there are sites like Free Republic, we will remember, and we will never forget.

Seems it is our Congressman, our media and many Americans so driven by partisan hate they have no room for memory of this day.

Time to start sending all of this to the media, to our Congressman. Start passing out the flyers, remind people. They've forgotton and they should feel everlasting shame for having done so.

A suggestion would be to send the names of the lives given in the first strike of this war to the MSM. They delight with glee to read every soldier's death. Remind them of Todd beamer. Remind them of names lost in the Towers. Remind them of our military struck at the Pentagon. Remind them of the ordinary HEROS that took a flight and saved either the W.H. or the lousy excuse for a human being Dick Durbin. Send them their photographs...their bios.

Make them look into the eyes of the people they betray by joining with the enemy.

BTW, did you hear about that guy that worked in the Bush Administration, that has written a book saying that the planes never went in to the buildings, and that the buildings were wired to blow up from within....

I have heard several Texas newspeople and talk show hosts say that they have talked to this guy quite a few times in the past, when he was working closely with President Bush, and he seemed totally "normal" and they are shocked that he has come up with this "theory"....

VERRRY BIZAARE,,,and I wonder how he would explain these pictures with the planes flying into the building? I was watching TV that morning, and saw it when it happened, and I have to admit that I sat there for a LONG time, not believing it...until, I saw the people running for their lives!
