SO cy- what do you think about the homeschooler attending band? I am beginning to think that Mike in Iraq has a good point when he says the parents may be trying to push a point. I really thought about it and he may be onto something there that I had not considered before.

This case smells a little funny to me. The school band represents the school. I plan on homeschooling my children and I'm doing so because I don't want them in public school. Why would I want them in the band? Just mho.
