Gay Marriage Inevitably leads to Gay Divorce
CBC News ^ | 6/17/2005 | Craig DeLuz

Example

This week British Columbia’s Supreme Court granted their first ever, same sex divorce.

CBC News Reports:

Two women who got married in Parksville two years ago have been granted a divorce by a B.C. Supreme Court judge in Nanaimo. Gay and lesbians in B.C. won the legal right to marry in 2003, sparking a wedding boom.

Among the gays and lesbians who decided to get married was a woman who can only be identified – by court order – by her initials, J.S.

But the marriage didn't work out. And J.S. filed for divorce last year.

But she says she was shocked to discover that while her same-sex marriage was legal, she wasn't allowed to divorce – because the Divorce Act only allowed a man and a woman to part.

It's so sad when a fake marriage doesn't work out.

"But the marriage didn't work out."

That's because it wasn't a marriage to begin with! How many times will society ignore religious conservatives just to realize years later that we were 100% right?

What's up with that? They usually do that with sex assault victims. Does she consider herself one?

At a guess, I'd say that she no longer considers herself a lesbian, wants out, and is embarassed to be stuck in this situation. But your guess is as good as mine.

According to the source article that's a picture of the first ever gay marriage... not the first gay divorce.

Them's men...

And yet this article wasn't entitled, "The Gay Divorcee"?

So how long will it be before we hear about same-sex spousal abuse?

No, I didn't ask when would it first happen. I asked when would we actually hear about it.

What will kill gay marriage is when the $500,000 a year surgeon's pool boy decides he can stand another night sucking off the 300lb arrogant smelly slob and wants out.

Shortly thereafter, there will be the following conversation: "Wait a minute, he's leaving me and I have to pay HIM?"

Plus - guess who gets to keep the house!

OK, you "gay Americans," you wanted the "rights of marriage", wait 'till you get a load of the responsibilities!

(I can assure you that "responsibility" will kill gay marriage faster that any petition, referendum, law or Constitutional amendment.)

Folks in the family crisis community, like myself, are pretty aware of it. Domestic violence generally happens at about the same rate in homosexual couples as heterosexual couples.

What is interesting about that is that it discounts the "gender factor" commonly believed to drive domestic violence.

While many studies confirm that abuse within same-sex pairing of both genders is much more rampant than it is within heterosexual pairings, the ultra-liberal msn turns a blind eye to this since it doesn't fit with its pro deviance, anti-family agenda.

This very article is evidence of such propagandizing:
Given that homosexuals make up well under 3% of the overall population and that many of this small number have no interest in 'marriage' and/or live in jurisdictions where it isn't permitted, this 'story' is roughly akin to running a banner headline about a dog born with 2 tails.

habitual gay narcissism + msn's anti conventional family agenda + freak show like sensationalism = 'news' ???

Yup, it's no different than hetero-marriage in that one respect.

The leading cause of divorce has always been marriage.

It's already happened...maybe even more than once. Our former mayor Ed Koch said this a while back. Hey, if you want gay marriage you're gonna have to think about gay divorce.....divorce court is already bursting at the seams.

The way I heard it, the mold-maker got quite a thrashing, too.
