Kennedy, and Durbin, and Leahy, and Boxer, et.al., are rhetorically at war with the government of the United States. They are whipping up their foot soldiers to march down a path that leads to Antietam, and Gettysburg.

We must do so decisively and immediately following their attacks and make them understand that they will suffer, and that they will always suffer if they attempt these tactics.

I agree with this if the dems "attack" was doing any damage to the repubs, but it's not! They are sounding like histerical loonies and it's having a reverse effect and instead of destroying us, it's destroying them! There is NOTHING repubs could do right now more effectively than just let the dems rant rancorously. It shows ppl who they really are. Oh, sure you have to at least throw out the preverbial rebuttal, or show some shock at some of the comments, but then just shut up and let them ramble like drooling braindead dipstix.

It doesn't get much easier than Durbin who is PROUDLY standing by his comment! Do you think America is going to agree with such a BS unAmerican statement? Do Americans really think we torture prisoners? You can not compare Gitmo to a gulag having seen terrorist cut off ppl heads without being the laughing stock of the world.

Baring the "Feel Good" part of your statement we can't be like them and give these nasty ass responses that are not dignified response to statements that are totally bogus and everyone knows it! They will only sound like bickering to the electorate...we have to be seperate.

I'd like to see a copy on the internet and FR of that FBI agent's original memo that traitor Durbin was quoting from. Why doesn't he cough it up?

I'm probably one of tens of thousands of freepers who want to read and analyze the memo personally to see if it's phoney or improperly interpreted.

I still disagree. Durbin would not have given his half-fast apology if his phones had not been ringing off the hook.

Sure it's good to let them rant for a while and get their crazy opinions in stone (Internet), but most people are sheep. They believe whatever they're told on Good Morning America, Today, CNN, &etc.

The Fallacy of Ad Nauseam applies, in that a lie told often enough is as good as true. If the Dems talk long enough about Gitmo, without firm, vocal rebuttal, the sheep will believe it and then it might as well be true.
