I guess I owe you a beer then. No problem. I believe I have some.... I know I bought some. It better be in the fridge and not in the truck that will create warm skunk pi$$ out of it. Pfffft.

How come you choose to respond to some posters and ignore my questions?

You bothered anyway! Thanks. I think. And for your kind words.

The faults are left over from the opening of the Atlantic.

I didn't realize you or your colleagues were there! LOL. Sometimes you can make assertions that are based as much on assumptions as those you see as abject kooks.

I think that complexities abound in such subject areas sooooo much that even experts are at risk regarding their even most cherished assumptions.

What do I know of such things? Not much. I do collect puzzle pieces. I post those I find interesting. I know I can count on you to be a quick and ready filter in this subject area. Whether your filter truly turns out to be 1,000% more accurate than mine remains to be seen.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some more very interesting quakes soonish. No big supernatural discernment or anything. Just a slight hunch. We shall see. I think the experts prognostications are probably few standard deviations more accurate than my SLIGHT hunches.

But, even the strangest of them are interesting. Who knows what the future holds, but God.

BTW, what's the status of the character with all the fancy calculations and his quake predictions? Seems like there's 2 or 3 that get reported. I forget which one has had some hits and a miss.

BTW, I wouldn't risk a great deal trying to psych out Quix's psychology. Some of the best professors in the country didn't get very far with that effort! LOL.

Thx.

LOL I noticed that years ago.

Mt. Diablo is always in the trio.

Given the big one up north and the big one down south . . . perhaps it could be said that God seems to be bookending California and the 'beloved' San Andres?

Interesting.

From how I understand it:

The earthquake appears on the list.

Then later is reveiwed by an official siesmoligist who then will change the earthquake post if the Mag. was higher/lower or a non event.

We postponed any more big earthquakes so that your visit will be relatively calm and quiet.

Oceanperch, my sister and hubby have a home in Depot Bay. Probably about the same height as yours. Lovely area.
a great view of the Paciifc. I think a large wave would have to work hard to make it up that high.

Ho ho ho ....I went into OUR Rural Lincoln County Oregon Radio Shack and now am the proud owner of a NOAA radio.

LOL The fellow told me LIN COM our 911 was in prior to purchase the same NOAA radio.

He also told me that with the West Coast Drill that our lil rural Radio Shack was the last store to get restock.

Seems they flew out of the stores on the whole west coast after the last drill.

So now we are all at peace and have all our bells and whistles in place with the back up batteries in place.

Thanks again.
