Wow, Blacksburg, Virginia has its own federal hate officer? How much are citizens there fined for frowning and scowling?

Wah, wah. Wah, wah, wah, wah.....The facts regarding muslims actions and inactions speak for themselves. Ignorance is ignoring the facts.

There are American Muslims. That you don't realize that is ignorance on your part.
Count me in with the ignorant then. You have absolutely no clue what America really is if you truly believe someone can live as a devout muslim and still hold to the tenants this country is founded upon. They are as different as capitalism and communism.

yea what a real pitty. Wonder how many jihad cells are under this supposed house of worship. Whatever that really means to them. The only act out physical movements, obey all daily living actions without blinking an eye to question things, and learn to at best "parrot verses" from the Quran. Who is kidding who. Keep em dumb and obiedient so that they can be convinced to join in the jihad. That is a basic premise of Islam in all it's various teachings and flavors. Hard to get around it.

You really need to get out more.

He declined to speculate whether the incident would be classified as a hate crime under state or federal law.I dare any local, state or federal agency to declare such a determination.
There is a limit to what even American sheep will tolerate.
No damage was done to persons or property. The precedents have been clearly set: this is a form of expression which has been tested in thousands of cases since the wonderful sixties.
Apply those precedents selectively at your own risk.

Bibles... or American flags. Nope, burning those isn't a hate crime. Let's put that another way: if a legitimate exercise of one's First Amendment freedom of speech is to burn a flag, then it must also be a legitimate exercise to burn Korans, otherwise, it's religious discrimination on the part of the government (for prosecuting one and not the other) which also violates the First Amendment.

Please forgive my obtuseness but I don't understand what the "them", "what they did," and "such action" refer to in the following--even after checking my post that it refers to.
This is a time for them to reflect on what they did to provoke such an action.
Who are you talking about doing what?

To: Publius6961
Was it a hate crime when someone put a crucifix in urine?
What a sickening double standard. Muslims in this country, for the most part, are just laying low until their numbers increase enough so that they can start pushing their weight around & forcing the rest of us to adhere to their "values".
To: sinkspur
That you don't realize that is ignorance on your part. Even the ignorant are entitled to an opinion.
You've never heard of "useful idiots"?
Wait...
Never mind.

The "victims." You see, it is supposedly never the perpetrators fault. The victim must always ask what he did to provoke the actions of the perpetrator.
