He better hope we don't remember the French like this in 2044 when we have to rescue them from Islamic domination.

If Europe today is "unified," I would hate to see it in disarray.
It's so sad to see Old Europe trying so hard to distract themselves from the fact that the heydays of their countries are long, long gone. How pathetic.

But the religiosity soon fades away once the revolution ushers in modernity. All revolutions are violent. Today's jihadist revolutions are just Islamic societies entering the modern world. That type of thinking will get you killed.
Islam isn't about this world or its pleasures it is about doing what God wants done and that is knuckling under non-believers or killing them. - tom

Emmanuel needs to adjust his meds. Or be given a stern lecture by his father:

I can't take it anymore. I'm going to vomit. The Unified Europe? Unified in the vision that they're all going to hell at the hands of the overpopulated third world that feels it's owed something from Europe.
Oh wait. That does sound kinda familiar. Where the hell is Aztlan, anyway.

"Mr. Todd predicted the fall of the Soviet Union by applying his crackpot theory that social liberation is a function of high education and low birthrates. Russia's birthrate fell so precipitouslylargely from abortionsthat Mr. Todd felt freedom was at hand... Mr. Todd is optimistic about Europe mainly because birthrates have fallen below replacement level, which he considers to be a good thing."Look out! It appears that Europe is ripe for social liberation!

The left-wing European intelligentsia live in a tight little world of illusion. I offer this money-making tip free to all readers of this thread: if you want to write a best-seller, slap together some rant based on a crack-pot theory and have it translated into French. It will be in the window of every bookshop in Paris and sail to the top of the lists. (It will also be praised by the American Library Association - which incidentally praised Todd's book.)

Oh boy, they have entering the modernity since the V century!.

So the EUorcrats now say it is not the EU collapsing it is the USA?
Seems like the USSR lovers are at it again.
Also seems the crackpot was right for the wrong reasons and right because of dumb luck.

Far from being an invincible hyperpower, according to Mr. Todd, the United States is really weak, decadent, and falling apart. This describes the democrats, not the United States.

Bull$hit! I'm convinced that the world could not survive without the United States....especially France. They practically welcomed the Nazi's during World War II and they'd do the same thing to the militant Muslims....thus allowing the Muslims to take over and rule over them with an iron fist!
This jerk forget's that American's are buried on their soil. They were put there in an effort to win the French there freedom. Ingrate SOB's!!!!!

The collapse of America
How is that possible with strong leaders like Dick Durbin, Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean and Charlie Rangel? Maybe our large population of second class citizens will come to our rescue? You know the people we call illegal aliens. We say they dont belong in OUR country, yet we let them undercut our children with their cheap labor and no benefits. They will never stand up for themselves and demand that Americas class system (with Mexicans being the underclass) be dismantled. Sure everything is fine
just dont count on social security. Sorry for being pessimistic, but I believe our countrys moral fabric is covered with the ugly liberal patch work of political correctness. Holtz JeffersonRepublic.com

Funny how Europe depends on our demise to "rise" to its right standing...
They're just setting themselves up for more major disappointment. Nothing new really...
