“I still dream of torture and cries”
http://www.nezavisne.com/revija/tekst2-050418.php

Gojko Knezevic and his family were sent to Jasenovac. He was witness how his mother was killed trying to save his sister. This is what happened - when they arrived in Jasenovac, one of the ustasa tried to take his little sister from her mother. His mother, Jovanka was strong and she tried to defend her child. Then, dozen of those animals attacked poor women, snatched baby and throw her in the air -- and caught her body on the bayonet. Then they killed Jovanka - they amputate her breast.

Eventually, Gojko was sent to Jasterebarsko concentration camp run by roman-catholic nuns. There were no doctors in the camp, food was terrible and they were tortured daily. Nuns had specialty - hitting children with thin stick previously immersed in salt water or vinegar. This way it would hurt more and wounds will heal slowly.
There children were converted. Every morning, nuns would take them to church service and if some of the children did not know to cross in roman-catholic way they would bit them. His estimate is that some 80% of the children were killed there.

Indeed, like a majority of Catholic clergy during the period, Archbishop Stepinac stood resolutely against the specifically racialist element of Nazi politics. Jews who had converted to Catholicism should not, according to this view, be killed. A forced conversion now and again, however, was another matter. And Stepinac doesn't seem to have been unduly troubled by the (locally) larger practice of massacring Orthodox Christians (or subjecting them to forced conversions). Certainly the larger geopolitical implications of taking the Nazi side in the war seem, to him, to have been a small matter compared to the vital necessity of crushing Serbian power. According to one account of the balance:

Sorry, but Stepinac is on his way to sainthood, and many Jews are also thankful for his actions during WW2.

He may nurture some scruples regarding Jews but killing Serbs was with OK with him, and most of the Craots. You Croats proclaimed murderous racist as Tudjman, Pavelic and Starcevic “fathers of the nation” so roman-catholic sainthood for him really makes sense. Especially given Vatican policy against Orthodox nations, Stepinac’s deeds or his stance that “Orthodox Serbs are worst plague of Europe even worse then Ottoman Turks”.

Centuries of Vatican push towards East come to nothing – you Muslim friends cleansed Croats from most of the Bosnia. You hate Serbs so much that you sold Europe and Christianity to jihad and you got your payment. More precisely first rate of the payment.

Diocletian - How do you know? What about the proof that has been presented so far? Your bigotry re: the RCC clergy's infalliability is bizarre and disturbing, to say the least. Are you also going to deny child molestations were carried out by certain members of the RCC here in the US?

Please source your incredible claims of infalliability or drop them.

Indcons:

You can't prove a negative. However, the lies on this thread are many and long in regards to the Church and WW2 Croatia, most of them taken from Communist show trials that were staged, as admitted by the Politburo member Milovan Djilas.
