"The study reveals that one-third the participants are infected with the disease. But half of the African American study participants are HIV positive."
Does this mean that 33% of gay men in baltimore have AIDS, or was the study done only of a specific group that already suspected they had the disease.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED to learn of this news.
Thank goodness we have government funded studies to tell us things we already know. I wonder how much I spent on this one.
To: Lorianne
Is God profiling black men or are they putting themselves at risk .
If this were traffic tickets they would be claiming discrimination.
Same reason for both. They place themselves at risk for Aids and they break more traffic laws.
The truth hurts.

>> I'm stuned.
You find that shocking. How about this one: "Study finds Pope to be Catholic!"

An official with the health department says early results from the study have resulted in programs to combat high-risk behavior. You know, if certain individuals would just sit down and keep their mouths shut, this thing could be nipped in the bud.

Un-John-F'n-Kerry-Believable. Federal tax dollars to study this. A simple phone call to my queer brother-in-law could have cleared this up for less money.

I'm glad we cleared that up, too. Where would we be without federally-funded studies ... wallowing in unutterable ignorance.

"Study finds Pope to be Catholic!"
That may be in dispute. Christiane Amanpour announced on CNN that John Paul II was the first "non-Catholic" pope to be elected in 455 years.

I am too, but leave it to the MSM to figure out how to leave out the one piece of news in this news story.
