Not good sounding. Dear God, I pray you bring this child back safely to her parents and place your angels around her until she is safely home. In Jesus Name.
ABC13 Eyewitness News: Authorities say three girls were walking along Highland Boulevard Thursday morning around 10am when a man in a black van reportedly offered them candy. He kidnapped one of the girls. She is reportedly six years old. Her name has not been released.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, wearing a boonie-type hat with a star on it and chinstrap
prayer bump and ping
Ping. . .
If there was an attempted abduction in the same area, then perhaps children in the area should have been monitored more closely by their parent(s).
Some Amber Alert... They don't even know the name of the little girl?
Perhaps, but all that matters now is this little girl.
On the news they said that her name hasn't been released yet.
Really, most people in my area don't even let their children in the front yard unsupervised any more. I live in the city though, this sounds more rural if it's in Montgomery County -- still the suburbs probably though.
How much longer are we going to have to put up with all the pedophiles roaming the countryside?
I read that the abductor offered the little candy, she was with 2 other girls, and she approached him.
When oh when will parents start being more responsible for their children's whereabouts? It's obvious that a group of children ALONE on the streets is not good enough.
That's very strange. It might help with clues in locating her....
This is in my neck of the woods, sort of. Second incident out here.
I hope a bunch of rednecks find the perp first!
I didn't know Montgomery County had anything other than rednecks. ;-)
It's only going to get worse.
Considering that younger people see so much indecency and even porn, and that they're being formed in the midst of moral relativism, I think it's only going to get much, much worse.
So would a photograph.
FYI: The Amber Alert has ben CANCELLED:
Amber Alert canceled; no girl reported missing
The Amber Alert issued Thursday for a girl in Montgomery County has been canceled today because the sheriff's office has not been able to confirm that a child is actually missing.
Thursday, a 6-year-old girl was reported to have been snatched by a man in a black van who lured her with candy as she walked with friends in west Montgomery County.
Sheriff's investigators said there had been no reports of a missing child in the area where two children said they saw the girl get into the van.
Investigators said they will still monitor the situation and will reactivate the Amber Alert if new information warrants.
The girl was reportedly walking with two friends on Highland Boulevard between Huffsmith-Dobbin Road and Inverness when the abduction was to have occurred, authorities said.
The description of the van is similar to that used in an attempted abduction in the same area about a month ago, sheriff's officers said.
The missing girl was reported to have been wearing black shorts, pink flip-flops, and a pink shirt with a pink rose and green leaves. She has shoulder-length brown hair, officials said Thursday.
The suspect had been reported to be a white or Hispanic man and was wearing a canvas hat with a chinstrap and a star on it. He reportedly drove a black, box-type van with no side windows and a sliding door.
Anyone with information may call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department at 936-760-5876.
Thank you.
