Note: Sgt. Steve Boggess is one of ChronWatch's newer writers that editor Gregory Borse, Barbara Stock, and I have worked with recently. Steve is currently stationed in Germany, but was on duty in Iraq when he first contacted us, saying that he aspires to become an op-ed writer and political commentator. He expected to be reassigned back to Iraq soon.
We were sorry today to receive the e-mail message below from his wife, Rhonda.
I hope that you will include Steve in your prayers. And I think it would be excellent if ChronWatch readers would send get-well messages to this patriotic soldier and his wife. Note the e-mail addresses at the end. Note also the link to Steve's most recent article on ChronWatch.

To: Marv Essary and Barbara Stock at ChronWatch
This is Rhonda Boggess, the wife of Sgt. Steve Boggess. I'm sending this because Steve wanted me to let you know that on Monday, he had a mild heart attack.
He is in the hospital and will not be released until Monday, June 20. He is doing OK. They put a stent in one vein and should be doing another vein about 6-8 weeks from now. They say that he should be better and it should not affect his military career, but it may ahim going back to Iraq.
He will e-mail you on Monday when he is released from the hospital. If something changes, I will e-mail you.
Prayers for his health, family, and career would be appreciated.
-Rhonda Boggess
Again, from Marv:
Get well messages can be sent to Steve at: armyguy35@hotmail.com or in care of his wife, Rhonda, at: oocean@hotmail.com
